I am obsessed with this restaurant. Eggplant with century egg and pork, stinky tofu, pigs feet, and pig ear in oil, are all part... of my obsession. I love this place. The staff is not warm and friendly but the food is amazing. Read more

DON'T go to this place!!! The food was TOO salty. The service was bad. The waiter even required minimum tips from us and said... the owner didn't pay them the minimum wage, so we as customers had to pay them minimum tips. How ridiculous anddisgusting! BTW: They promised on their menu to give free vegetable plates if ordering Lamb hot pot. We order the lamb hot potwithout extra add-ons and asked for the vegetable plate. However, the waiter came to us and said the pot was too small anddidn't have room to put vegetable. So they couldn't give us the free vegetable plates. Hey, first, we could cook vegetables inthe pot after finishing the lamb. This just simply couldn't be an excuse. Second, we didn't expect you to give away free staffif you don't put it on the menu. If you don't plan to give away free staff, don't put it on your menu. Read more

Probably the most authentic Hunan restaurant I?ve been to in the US! The menu is full of common Hunanese dishes that are usually... difficult to find, and I was impressed by the quality and flavor of almost everything we ordered. The ????(pork belly withpreserved vegetables) was perfectly fatty and seasoned without being too greasy. They even have rice shaomai (vs the typicalmeat-filled ones you see in dim sum). The crawfish is probably the only dish I wouldn?t reorder again, it felt a littleovercooked and flavor of the crawfish meat wasn?t as fresh or yummy as I hoped. The restaurant has seating on two levels and wasnot too busy on a summer Friday evening. Read more

I?ve been a loyal customer and loved their food but $28.95 Xiang?s beef in golden soup with 2/3 filled with rice noodles... delivery is not acceptable. We are all affected by inflation I worked hard to pay and enjoy my meal and this is what you made? Read more

Ok, I read the other reviews and it seems this place at times is either hit or miss, like a rollercoaster. However, for our... experience, the food was great and so was the service. Every dish we ordered hit the spot, the portions were enough, and itwasn?t that unreasonably expensive (We were hungry). I always give 4 stars and add the last star only if the place hassomething more to offer. I think they deserve it with the tasty food and good service. The table was clean too. Read more

I was raised in Changsha so I've been searching for an authentic Hunan restaurant for years and years in both New York and... Boston, and I have to say this restaurant is the real deal. They had a great selection of Hunan dishes and a lot of things I'venever seen anywhere else in the States. Of the food we ordered, the eggplant with pi dan, the la rou, and the lotus root wereall standouts. The flavors were great and really brought me back to Changsha. Can't speak for some of the things on the menuthat other reviewers are saying weren't good but would recommend ordering more Hunan specialty dishes at this place. The servicewasn't bad for us either- they served our table of 4 pretty quickly and food didn't take long either. Overall would definitelycome back and would highly recommend!! Read more
