i called yesterday and spoke with Alyssa (sorry if spelled incorrectly) and Alyssa was so helpful, kind, and so friendly. just... minutes before i called this bakery, i had an awful experience and was bullied by a manager from a different bakery, who told methat the cake i had ordered custom for my wedding was not going to look good (purple frosting, pink and blue flowers on top, myfavorite colors) and that they would not make it for me, i was in tears, but was recommended this Hillcrest Bakery by an amazingfamily member and Alyssa was the one who took my order and helped me get it perfect, i am so much more excited for my weddingday because of this experience and i cannot wait to see and taste the cake. Alyssa deserves a raise for how awesome she is withcustomers. thank you so much for turning this terrible day around, i am forever grateful i was blessed with such a kind personto speak to after the ordeal i had gone through. We got a lemon meringue pie from hillcrest which has been our first experience eating from hillcrest bakery and they did not... disappoint! 2 of us ate the entire pie in 2 days and it only lasted to the second day because we were too sad to have it be gonein 1 day. Based on this experience i can only imagine that everything they make is good! Read more
I was referred to Hillcrest by another bakery when I needed a cake for my parents? 50th Anniversary party. I was late in... ordering but they fit us in with only 2 weeks? notice and made a wonderful replica of the original wedding cake (albeit for amuch smaller crowd). The ordering process was extraordinarily smooth - I live out of state and did everything via email andphone. They delivered and set up the cake at the restaurant perfectly. I found Hillcrest bakery online and ordered a cake for my sister?s virtual baby shower. It was amazing! The future mom to be... loved it! And everyone said it was delicious too (it looked that way ? I was sad I couldn?t taste it myself!). Ordering fromafar was also a breeze and they were able to turn it in a pinch. They were very helpful and helped guide me through how todecorate the cake. I've been going here since I was a little kid. Every year of my life literally my family gets a smorgasbord of goodies here for... Christmas and I have never had better quality from any bakery.
