Our first time here. The seaweed salad was delectable. The gyoza, California roll (one of the best my husband has ever had) and... tempura in the Bento box were good. Our son and I enjoyed their Tonkatsu ramen, and our daughter enjoyed the chickenKatsu. FYI: Their prices have gone up due to the current inflation...the highest in decades (compared to the menus posted byother reviewers). Cozy,authentic Japanese food that is delicious!! Our server was polite and knowledgeable about the food and menu. We ordered a... miso ramen that had a rich broth with great flavors but not overpowering-it was just right. And we all ordered the largesashimi plate that was fresh and beautifully decorated which also came with a side of miso soup. Been craving a bento box and as a lunch time stop this did not disappoint. This restaurant has gone through several iterations... over the years but the decor and the food has remained pretty consistent. For lunch they have a variety of different bento toochoose from, from tempura, to sushi and sashimi to tofu and many more. You then select one main dish from a list. I chose theterikai chicken. From a strip mall sushi restaurant perspective it was pretty good. I recommend for your lunch timegastronomical destinations. Read more
