I am a serial Magic The Gathering player, deck builder, collector, and investor as I?m sure many of you guys are too. I have had... a spectacular time building a relationship with the owner of Zulu Board Games, Matt, for quite a few years now and I can say heis among the most genuine people I have ever met on this tiny blue rock we call home. ???? He is smart, funny, business savvy,extremely knowledgeable about every product the business sells, and best of all, he has an amazing heart. I?m proud to call himmy friend and I extremely happy for all of the successes the business and the team at Zulu is have had over the years. Zulu willlikely be an internationally known brand someday and I am happy I have been part of the Zulu community to see it take steps toget there. Café side, they care that your food is a reasonable price and tasty! ???? Really great board game store. They?ve fixed it up with fun decor and expanded gaming areas. Inside board-gaming tables are a... tavern theme. They have a good selection of curated ?demo? boardgames. Zulus carries a good selection of boardgames andminiatures / paints. The board game selection is a little limited to make room for more seating / miniatures, but they have thegood stuff is available. Food is pretty good, smash burger style, with thin patties, but they have a ton of different sauces to try from which is what... makes their menu shine. I give it 85 sizzling cows out of 100. The place like the name implies have tons of board games andcards, they also host a ton of events. Even if you're not into the games, the food is still worth a it! Read more
Zulu?s is truly a number one place for me. TLDR: You?ll never regret hanging out here! The staff are friendly and kind, the... food is excellent and the menu has some delicious twists on pub classics. The great beer and art are locally sourced, which isawesome! Want to get in on some new board games? They have a huge selection for sale, and many - if not most - are available totry out for free! Did not know about this place until recently. Decided to buy some Pokémon cards and saw they had some food so we ordered the... two different poutines and maulburgers. The food were really delicious and most of all, the customer service was great. Everyonewho works there were really kind and friendly and we definitely feel welcomed. Loved the collection of board games and vibe of this place. You can buy or enjoy some open games here. Good place to hangout... with friends or family. Food was also good. We ordered potato tots and fries. This place closes at 8PM on Sundays. So if youwant to enjoy some games go there in the afternoon. Read more
Absolutely love the place. It is very obvious that a lot of thought and love has gone into putting the place together. Every... nook and corner has something cool to look at. The kids absolutely loved it. Not to mention the staff were so nice and welcomingI cannot remember the last time the we had such treatment. It has great food (with fun names) selection, family friendly gamesyou can play for free from their demo pile while you are wait.
