We dined at this restaurant in Sept. of 2022. Love the location, love the vibe, love the decor.... food was "decent" , service... not so much. Bread was served when the meal arrived, the meal arrived before my friend took a sip of her cocktail, my roastedlamb was literally not heated through... the waiter was local but knew absolutely nothing about wine, when they advertisepairing wine with food. Perhaps if we had arrived in a Cesna , it would have been different ? Read more

Spectacular hidden jewel in the Outaouais region of Quebec! It was my first 2 day getaway experience at Auberge Minitik, and... summing up my overall stay with one word would be: SUPERB! Amazing both modern & rustic spacious rooms with an incrediblycomfortable bed! This place will now become my new ?go to spot? weekends getaway! Read more

4.5/5! My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and we loved every moment. We stayed at the Minitik Inn and enjoyed the... amenities thoroughly. We had the best meals at the restaurant, enjoyed kayaking around Grant Ile, and felt completely relaxedfrom check-in to check-out. The only criticism I can think of is that at night the exterior lights are quite bright and do notallow for much stargazing in the evening. Also, the spa cover is somewhat difficult to manage, and we noticed some guestsstruggling or giving up entirely in putting it back on. That should not undermine your choice to visit Village Majopial, wehave no regrets! Read more

Excellent!!! Amazing experience. We stayed at the Minitik Inn for the long weekend, the room was super clean, modern, and the... bed was comfortable. The best part was the view, we stayed in room 4 (ground floor) which had direct access to the lake andbeautiful view, can see sunrise right from your bed. They also let us charge our electric car, which was super kind of them. Therestruant is also very good, the food is very fresh and delicious. We also rented a canoe (50$ for entire day) to explore thelake and it was a memorable experience. Highly recommended, hidden gem, will definitely return. Read more

Very nice place! Clean, friendly staff, isolated. Rented all 6 rooms for a wedding and it was perfect!

Simply an amazing weekend getaway! The staff at Village Majopial were SO friendly from our very first phone call. We booked the... "Discover 31 Mile" package which included kayaks, table d'hote dinner, a one night stay and breakfast the following morning. Wewere grateful to be offered early check-in (without even having requested it) as the room was unoccupied the night before. Wearrived from Ottawa around 1pm and enjoyed a perfect sunny day filled with swimming (on a private dock) and kayaking on theclear blue lake. Our room in the newly constructed Minitik Inn was STUNNING and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in!We were blown away by each course during dinner at the Huile d'Olive restaurant. The food alone is reason to come back again andagain. I would highly recommend to anyone - we are already trying to plan a date to come back this summer! Thank you, again, toall of the warm staff members! Read more

Village Majopial has overpriced parking. If you want to go camping on the 31 milles lake, this is not the place to park. They... charged me 65$ for 2 nights. It is more expensive than parking downtown Ottawa during peak time. You can park in Gracefield forfree, the city made the parking bigger. It is a very nice spot. (From 105 turn right on Chemin Point Confort, turn left onChemin de la baie Matte, it is at the end of the road) (Edited after owner's reponse: 2 weeks ago, I parked and it was free. Ispoke to people working for the city and Gracefield has no plan to charge for parking) Read more
