So happy to have this place in Boulder! Delicious dumplings. Lots of meatless options that are super flavorful (the vegan... chicken bun is my favorite). Relatively expensive, but great food quality. I?ve only done done in since I think they?re all bestfresh from the steamer, but will try takeout. Read more

So we ordered dumplings to go. Sat here and watched three sets of orders (who ordered after us) get their food. Thought... something was up and went to ask - apparently there was an issue with our order that was not communicated to us.. My guess isthat they never put the order in. Sitting here for about a half hour waiting for steamed dumplings... Pretty sure dumplings onlytake about 3 minutes to steam. Oddly, things started moving as soon as we asked and now our order is being prepared... Read more

So happy that we stopped by this place, the appetizers are very refreshing and reminded me of my home/China. My husband and I... ordered 3 types of dumplings (steamed, fried, and boiled) and we liked the steamed crab dumplings the best, it's very juicy andit strikes a lovely balance between the crab and the pork flavor. Just some of the critiques from my POV - 1) The wrappers ofthe dumplings are bit too thick and chewier than the authentic dumplings, also 2) the filling of each dumplings is bit small, especially for the price we're paying for. Mason Dumpling serves various kinds of authentic Chinese dumpling and noodle dishes. I tried the soup dumplings (Xiao Lung Bao... in Chinese) and a stewed beef bun for lunch. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The soup dumplings were no better thanthose frozen ones sold in Asian grocery store. The beef bun was better except some part of the steamed bun was mushy most likelythe water from the steamer dropped onto the bun during steaming. The service was fine, but it took close to 10 minutes to getthe soup dumplings. The price is also on the high side for only 8 pcs of dumplings. Read more

Love this place. Don?t be afraid to try the apps as well. Pan fried dumplings are a slam dunk! Steamed dumplings are also tasty... but my wife still prefers Din Tai Fung for soup dumplings ;) I like ?em. If you go be prepared to be patient (good food takestime) and to share (steamed dumpling will come out before the fried) Read more

Food was good. Service could get better, never got a water refill. Wish they had more vegetarian entrees. Will visit again.

Epic dumplings and authentic Chinese fair. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Boulder. Noodle soups are spectacular and... apps are incredible. Try the seaweed salad, wood ear mushrooms, soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, chive pockets, andbraised beef noodle soup. All of it is perfectly executed! Read more
