We really liked the food here! The samosa chaat was one of the best I?ve had in the US. Johl Momo was also very flavorful and... rich. Ordered 4/5 spicy and it was very spicy (even for an Indian person). So if you?re not used to heat, go light on the spicelevel. Ihaven?t been to this place in over a year. I used to love this place right before I moved away so I always come when I visitfrom out of town. Said 20 min. Then we got there at 20 min. Had me sit down and said 5 more minutes. I waited almost 20 minutesinside, and I thought it would have been ready so I didn?t bring my phone. The lady was nice and sweet, despite lying to meabout the wait time, and I only saw her waiting on everyone. They need more help, and honestly the portion I received wasunacceptable for $16 for the veg korma. Either lower the price or double the amount of food. There was plenty of rice and it wasdelicious. The flavors did seem a bit dull, like the korma had been made the day before. I?m pretty sure they prepared mineafter I arrived, and I opened the bag and the plastic container lid was sunk in like it had been microwaved with the lid on.Also, I?m glad there was plenty of veggies but there was almost no sauce, it was mostly veggies. I like a good balance of both.They did respect my coconut allergy, and I did not have any reaction so that?s great. Overall the food was decent, but I?m stillKind of disappointed in this place. We've ordered takeout here a few times, and dined in a few times. Without fail, the food is hot, delicious, and there has never... been a single mistake with our orders. The folks who run the place are as warm and welcoming as you can get, and their housechai is frickin' delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place. There are a couple of other quite goodNepali/Northern Indian food places in Boulder, but Sherpa Kitchen gets our vote for the top spot! Read more
