Splendid surprise in the desert. It’s a little out-of-the-way, but well worth the drive. It’s even a more incredible... experience if you can spend the night. The restaurant is phenomenal, and the adjacent lodging accommodations are lovely. It wasa welcomed restful night after being in the desert for a few days camping. While it was a bit of a journey to reach the restaurant, it was absolutely worth it! They have a strong grasp on farm to table... cuisine with a friendly local feel. You may be in the absolute rural corners of Utah but they maintain an approachableatmosphere. There's certainly something special about eating truly fresh and local food and that magic is obvious inSweetwater's dishes. Read more
Absolute gem, amazing food, warm staff.. Definitely worth visiting
Cannot say enough wonderful things about Sweetwater Kitchen and their staff. We have had dinner here after some long days of... hiking in the area, and last year held a family wedding party dinner and morning brunch here. Beautiful views, 5 star food, andthe entire staff were a joy to work with. Chef Eric has an amazing talent, we asked if he could come up some recommendations forour event and everything was perfect. The day before our event some crazy weather threatened to derail our plans and the entirekitchen went above and beyond to help us with alternate plans on the fly. We scoped out every single other restaurant in thearea - you won't find anything better (or that even comes close to comparing) anywhere nearby! Read more
SUMPTUOUS SURPRISE! My husband and I were so lucky to have stumbled upon this hidden gem! Best food we've had during our Utah... trip by far! The chef concocted food combinations on par with what we typically experience in a cosmopolitan city restaurant. Don't pass this up if you're traveling along highway 12!!!
