We were in the mood for salmon and this restaurant was listed in Google Maps. It was close to our hotel so we decided to try it.... It's a small Hawaiian diner that has the most tender blackened salmon we've ever tried. I was worried it would be spicy or toopeppery, but it was simply delicious! It was served with a mango salsa, salad, and our choice of rice and beans that had acoconut cream sauce over it that was amazing. I love coconut cream but had never tried it in a simple sauce over rice. Ourmeal was in foil tins that made it easy to seal and take our leftovers to the hotel to finish later in the evening. The servingstaff were pleasant and seemed to really like their job. The Hawaiian music in the background gave the place a very tropicalatmosphere. Food and service was great. Dining room was clean and not crowded. Price is decent if you have a buy one, get 2nd coupon.
The Food was poor quality and looked like it was cooked hours before ordering. The veggies were soggy and the meat looked fake... or prepared before being delivered to the location. None of the grills were turned on and it was around lunch time. Thedining area stunk like dirty rags or an old dirty mop. I should have asked for my money back and gone somewhere else, butinstead I ate the food and had major remorse. The worst part is that the bowl cost more than $13.00. Read more
Love how nice everyone who works there is. Friendly and so welcoming. We always get their Volcano blackened Mahi-Mahi because... it?s just so good, it goes perfectly with Caesar salad that comes with it. Low quality no matter what you get. Any rice bowl you choose will be mostly just rice and hardly any toppings or meat. They cut... corners with the more expensive ingredients. Worst Hawaiian restaurant west of the Mississippi. Read more
