The ambiance of this place is great on a sunny day, and its conveniently close to the ferry terminal. However, I feel the... quality of the food and price don?t match up. I felt this place is definitely made for tourists . Chicken wings was okay.Ceviche could?ve been done better and I believe our meal with an added beer was around $40. I?d come here solely for conveniencebecause they open later than most places on the island and have a good ambiance to relax in prior to boarding the ferry. Read more

Located near the ferry terminal, Doc Morgan's is a popular pub on Bowen. One of the reasons is probably due to the nice views of... the marina area. We happened to come here on the same day the Prime Minister decided to visit. Needless to say, it was busy andwe had to wait to get a table as they were busy with his entourage. But they took our number and called us as soon as a tableopened up. We managed to get a seat on the patio and had a view of the PM sitting inside. The good here was pretty good. Triedthe Halibut and Chips. The fries were addictive. Also tried the Beef Dip. Although messy with the horseradish sauce, it was verytasty. Read more

Good food. Interesting story about the owner and the restaurant?s history (read the story on the first page of the menu)!... Service was fast for a Saturday of a long weekend. Quality of food was good and fair for the price and location. Read more

This is a special little oasis after a long day of sailing. We spent out last night before returning to Vancouver with sailing... friends here. It was a great place to celebrate a week of sailing adventures. The view of the marina and gardens from the patiowas beautiful. I had the halibut which was fantastic. We also enjoyed sharing delicious desserts including key lime pie andtiramisu. Yum!! Read more

Average pub fare. Food, service, and atmosphere are pretty good and average. The portion of fish in the fish in chips is pretty... tiny (was able to see cause ordered it grilled instead of batter fried). Also tried the mussels pasta, which tasted prettybland. The chorizo prawns were very good though. Pricier than it should be but it is a big tourist spot. Read more

It?s a very beautiful place! Had fish and chips & fish tacos! Good amount of food but the our fish didn?t have any seasoning.... Mussels linguine was cooked perfectly but the cream sauce tasted somewhat like clam chowder soup which was fine but unique.Great happy hour deals and quick service. Will be back again to try other menu! Read more
