We started our experience with The Snug Cafe with fresh, refreshing smoothies after a hike. We were looking for real fruit... smoothies when we came down from our hike and the only place we could find on Bowen Island around 3 pm was this cute littlecafe. We had a Tropical smoothie and a Bowen berry smoothie. Both were incredibly good but little thick to start with and littlesour. We liked those very much. The following day we came around 8.30 for breakfast before our ferry. We had Prawn Avo benny andBacon benny. Both were so good and after a while I had a perfect benny. The only thing I would suggest to improve is hollandaisesauce. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The place is clean and tidy. The patio is awesome. I would suggest youto try this place if you are going to Bowen Island. Read more
This is a very charming place that is very popular in the morning. We were here before motoring back to Vancouver after a week... of sailing. I had a vegan breakfast burrito that was delicious and big enough to split with a friend. My husband had the bagelbreakfast sandwich and also enjoyed it. There coffee was great too. Read more
This place was busy when I visited during a weekday, and it's no wonder why! It had a colorful setting, and many delicious foods... to choose from. It was also pretty good for value. I got the chicken curry wrap, which came with a cup of soup, and both werevery excellent! Perfect for after a hike. I'll have to visit again and try something else. A very busy but nice cafe located close to the furry terminal. Great variety of foods and drinks more than you expect. They got... limited seating space inside but a nice front yard and a very cozy backyard seating space. Read more
This restaurant is a must try whenever you visit Bowen island. It?s very conveniently close to the ferry. Several breakfast... options available(veggies as well). They have nice outdoor patio. Read more
Great spot just a quick walk from the ferry terminal. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Their baked goods are... wonderful. Sandwiches and lunch seem popular. If ordering lunch, give yourself some time as they cook it the order so is niceand fresh. Read more

Very easy to grab a bite here while waiting for the ferry. It seemed to beperpetually busy and it took us 20 minutes to place an order. Unfortunately the wait time for anything from the kitchen was over20 minutes so we ended up getting a couple of croissants ????. These were among the best I've ever had anywhere! Deliciouslyfresh and the chocolate one was a perfect level of sweet! Hot chocolate was the same - just the right level of sweetness. Highlyrecommended on any trip to the island! We had a great lunch at the Snug Cafe. I had a coffee and my partner enjoyed a hair latte. We split the special spicy prawn... burrito and butternut squash soup as a side. Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone on Bowenwhether or not you happen to be waiting on the ferry. Read more
