The food came quick, and it was delicious. And everyone working there was cheerful and sweet
First time here, surprising good. It?s not a Jim?s or Pat?s in downtown Philly, but who is. The one downfall and it?s really not... is it?s hard to close the sun to eat due to so much product. Nice thick fries, soft sub roll and fresh ingredients. As you cansee I had a blueberry lemonade. Refreshing and not overly sweet. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was beyond clean.Will come back if in the area for sure. Read more
Ok, so this worked better than I had anticipated. I ordered the old school steak and cheese an it was excellent. Exactly as... named. Full of good meat shredded on the flat top and piled in the bun like they don?t care. It?s your job as the consumer tocorral that steak into place. The hot pepper relish is a MUST ADD ITEM FOR SURE. EXCELLENT. It?s not so much relish as arunny dressing that wakes up everything it touches. There will be a lot of steak falling out of that toasted bun. Forget thefork and get in there with your hands. I didn?t try fries or a shake but they looked tempting. I?ll try again soon. But $13.50for a sandwich and a drink maybe not every day. Read more
The customer service here is phenomenal, although it takes a little bit of time to get in line here some days when it's busy... during lunch time. I really enjoy the way the staff treats me with respect and doesn't give me any jeers or strange looks when Iask for things like extra seasoned salt or honey mustard on my cheesesteak. This is always been my go-to place for a cheesesteakso to see this place run with such good staff is a good thing to see. Read more
Very disappointed ????! I had take-out. Got home and had a sandwich that I didn't order. Gas is to expensive to go back. I tried... calling several times and never got through. Before I got my order a man came in complaining that his order was incorrect aswell. I gave three stars because the fries were not and hot. Read more
Actually, much better than I anticipated. Quite a pleasant surprise. The employees were professional, courteous and fast. The... steak and cheeses were very good and contained enough meat. I had been avoiding this place because the steak and cheese hassuffered serious demise in the DC area. My son convinced me to try Charleys and he was right. So far so good.
