When it comes to Reubens, I have refined tastes (read: I?m picky). Many places have terrible dressing, the wrong cheese, or... skimp on the corned beef. By the way, if it?s not corned beef, it?s a Rachel. Chesapeake knew the difference so I knew they hadpromise. This sandwich was amazing! There was no part of it that disappointed me! A little hole in the wall. Ordered the day's special the Peppadew Pasta. It was some red pepper chicken cheese alfredo pasta.... Very filling and tasty. It came with a side salad which I chose the caesar salad & was nice and fresh. The others ordered theRachel with sweet potatoes fries and a soft drink. Chicken Cheese Melt with sweet potato fries and a soft drink. Total $45. Satoutside and the food was brought to us. Good customer service. I got the pulled pork sandwich that came with bay fries, which costs some change over $12. I have one ?complaint?, was that the... sandwich was really big. I had to save some of the sand which for the next day. (Lol) The pork was tender, juicy, and saucy andthe fries were good. The employees were also pretty friendly. I will definitely come here again. The soups were just what were needed on a cold rainy day. The size of the crab lumps were pretty decent in a mini, and very... little filler used. Great quality food. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu. COVID protocols were prettydecent. Proper spacing indoors, and some limited outdoor tables available. Spaces cleaned immediately after guests vacate,disposable wrapped utensils, and plenty of hand sanitizer available. Read more
I loved this spot. It does have outside seating but only 4 separate tables and they're usually always taken. The bar is long and... spacious. Lots of parking. Good location. The server was helpful and fast. Menu was full of choices. The desert menu only had 5options which is typical for most restaurants. I have a good experience here and would love to come again. Greetings people. I came to this restaurant on my recent trip to MD. Figured I had to eat crab cakes since I'm in the right area... to do so, huh? Well they didn't disappoint! I got the Crab Cake Sammy w/a side of fried pickles to go. The Sammy was hot anddelicate w/the crab being flakey and full of flavor. Accompanied w/a side of tartar (taboo?) for the occasional boost intexture/flavor made it a good choice. The fried pickles were a bit undercooked, one still having raw batter underneath. Might bebecause I arrived too quickly? Who knows, but that wasn't a huge deal for me. They had great flavor! Both the batter and thepickle. Read more
