The most horrible experience ever in Bowie, MD,. I?ve tried to give it a chance a few times but each time its the same.... ?Tasteless? At times you just want to eat something fresh and healthy. The most tasteless salad experience ever. Even SweetGreen have better tasting salads and ingredients and salad dressings. But on yesterday was the last straw for me, my husband & Iare now sick from sweet green. Some of the ingredients must not have been fresh and we are paying dearly for it now. I ordered a create your own salad for my first experience with this restaurant. The ingredients were super fresh, but the... dressings were just ok. I mixed the honey garlic and sesame ginger in order to have a decent dressing. I also tried the balsamicvinaigrette and it was your standard dressing. Additionally, I tried the jerk salmon, but it was dry and and a bit tasteless.I?d try another protein for the next visit. I chose to create my salad with the jerk salmon as my protein. The salad was large and filled with greens. It was delicious. You... only get 4 toppings and each additional topping is .75 cents. There are lots of toppings to choose from such as nuts, legumes,dried fruit, and roasted veggies. After adding tomatoes, cukes, and onions, the salad basics, I had one topping left before thesurcharge! For that, they receive 4 stars. The staff was patient and very nice to interact with. This is the best salad spot I've ever been too! I'm not exaggerating. I wish I could give this place 100 stars. I love salad... restaurants. I go to them frequently and have had my favorites to this point, but from now on FRESH GREEN is the only option forme. I got the Jerk Chicken Cesar Salad. I substituted the Jerk Cesar Dressing for the Chipotle Ranch. I added a couple of otherextra toppings and my masterpiece of a salad was complete. My wife knows how much I love a good salad so when I told her I amnever steeping foot in any other salad spot she was shocked. Friends please do yourself a favor and check out Fresh Green. Read more
My Husband decided to stop here for dinner. The salads are big, fresh and good! I got the Seafood Cesear Salad which includes... shrimp, salmon and crab meat. I got dressing on the side. The staff was polite and friendly. It's a bit pricey, however for theportions and the seafood. I think its worth it. Read more
First time visiting Fresh Green. I ordered a build your own salad. Nice to have regular salad restaurant in the bowie area!!... Only took off one star because it was quite expensive my salad was $17. I got salmon and an extra topping. But everything tastevery fresh. Read more
This was one of the best salads I've ever had! This was my first time eating at here. The young woman working there greeted me... with a smile and was extremely helpful, explaining the menu to me and suggested a Sesame Ginger dressing that I wouldn'tnormally have tried. Loved it! I selected the artisan mix with cucumbers, carrots and red peppers with shrimp, everything wasfresh and crisp. Next time I'll ask to have my salad chopped, it was hard to manage with just a fork.
