I usually never leave a review on restaurants, however I had to leave one on them. I came up to Washington, DC for my graduation... and used this restaurant for the catering for the after party. There was not nothing on the menu that wasn?t good, everythingwas cooked to perfection. Real authentic Jamaican food. The prices aren?t even bad either. My graduation party was beyondsatisfied, had so much food leftover. I recommend that everyone checks them out. Thank you again for your great service. ?????? Read more

Coco bread was delicious!! Tried the veggie patty and rum cake as well, tastes great. My friend?s family is Jamaican and her mom... loves this place too! Drove over an hour to try it. Not reflective of the food, but the staff was filled with attitude and notcompliant to help customers. Read more

I got goat curry that came with rice and cabbage. Then ordered a side of coco bread. Amazing is an understatement. Food took a... little bit of time but it was well worth it. Customer service was even pleasant. No inside seating and had to wear a mask. Read more

Horrible!! Horrible!! Horrible! Do not waste your money here. This is not Jamaican food!!!!! I ordered brown stew chicken with... rice and peas and it was so nasty. The chicken was white and gravy watery, the rice was over cooked and the cabbage plain with anasty smell to it. Even the plantain was undercooked. Omg. Read more

I will NEVER give them anymore of my business. I have never been so embarrassed and offended at restaurant in my life. I bought... lunch for my family around 1pm here today. After we got home I realized I did not get my soursop juice and cocoa bread, so Icalled, and told them I would be there later. I went back around 6 with my receipt and explained to the cashier what happened. Her response was was, well how did you not notice it wasn't in your hand when you left we gave it to you, in front of everyone,as if I am a bum looking for a come up. I told her I spent $60 here today, why would I come back for $2 bread and a $3 drink ifI got it earlier. She starts talking in Spanish to the other cashier, and the other cashier said oh she did I put it in thefridge. She handed me my drink and bread and apologized to me. They gave me the same drink that was made earlier. In the pictureyou can see that the ice melted and separated from the juice. The food and customer service has gone down tremendously. Read more

I gave this place two tries and the food is definitely not Jamaican. They should call it The Eatery, not Negril Jamaican Eatry.... The food had no flavor and it does not taste like Jamaican food at all. I'm not sure who they have as a cook but they are notpreparing Jamaican food. I order a curried veggie stew dinner; which had no curry taste or smell at all. I was so shockedbecause how could you miss up curry. This is the second time I tried this place and I'm not going back. The food was bland withno seasoning. A real Caribbean person know what real Jamaican food taste like and this place is not it. Just call it TheEatery and ya'll be fine. Nice customer serice though.
