I had the chicken gorditas which were pretty good. But none of my food or the plate was hot. The plate was room temperature... and the food Just kinda warm, which is unusual for Mexican food. My friend got the 3 Enchiladas plate, and needed his knife tocut them. I think they'd been under a heat light or in the oven a LONG TIME. He was taking Tums all night long. Not good, nexttime I'll go to Spicy Mexico Read more

Beans and Chicken Gorditas were OK. The beans did not have much flavor amd the Gorditas corn tortillas were hard and not a lot... of flavor. I've had other items on the menu that were better. Read more

Disappointed salsa tasted more like puree tomatoes. The queso is canned and not freshly made. Small portion and big... price.Disappointed that grilled chicken fajitas didn't taste grilled(neither vegetables or meat had a grill char on them) Therealways room for improvement. Took 15 minutes to get a brownie with scoop ice cream. Because our waitress was sitting in a boothnear us talking with customer talking. Then they charge you a fee for using bank card over cash. Consumer pays credit cardfee...poor experience. Read more

Dos Chilies always does a great job with their TexMex cuisine. Awesome local atmosphere combined with a remodeled look is fun... for the family. The grilled chicken salad on spinach was refreshing! Read more

Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. I ordered The Bronco - A tamale, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. The... food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I really liked the rice; it was typical Mexican rice, but different enough fromothers to stand out. My tamale was big, and the chili sauce on top was very good. The only con was the chips. They were thin andcrispy, which I like BUT they were SO greasy. The grease was almost dripping off! So much that the grease flavor over poweredthe chip flavor. This was my first time here, so I am going just assume they are not tyoically that greasy. We arrived justafter opening, and I think maybe they didn't have their oil completely heated before frying the chips. The hot sauce was reallyfresh and good. The parking lot was filling up, so it seems that lots of people like to eat there. I will definitely go backnext time I'm in town. Read more

This was my first visit to Dos Chiles. I give them top ratings for: 1. Beautiful atmosphere 2. Friendly and knowledgeable... service 3. Gracious hospitality, and 4. Fresh, quality ingredients. Further explanation: 1. A clearly skilled decorator foundunique ethnic items to adorn the restaurant. 2. Emily enthusiastically cared for our table of six men. She offered quickrecommendations when asked. And she kept our salsa bowls and chips coming. 3. We were having a church camp planning meeting andkept our table from 6:30 until they closed at 9:00. Nothing expressed but joy to have us all evening long. 4. I like that theyoffer a spicy and mild salsa. This would make my wife happy. (She's allergic to jalepeños.) On Emily's recommendation I triedthe stir-fried veggies with beef and chicken. Excellent vegetables not overcooked and good cuts of beef and chicken fajitameat. Why withhold a star? For me, the stir-fry was light on spice/flavor. They could upgrade the fajita marinade. But I willdefinitely return and order the stir-fry again. But I will request some fresh jalepeños added to the veggies. Read more
