Food is ok but the service is god awful. I keep giving them another chance but this time was the last. I just sat in the... restaurant for an hour at lunch and left with no food. I was seated, ordered, then waited 20 minutes for them to wait for otherpeople to come to fill the table. Then, the other people ordered soups, salads, appetizers, and they made us wait for another20 minutes while they ate. Then, we asked the server how long it would be, she pointed to two other tables that were currentlycooking, and told us they were the only two there. I just wasted an hour in this stupid place. Never again. Read more

The waitress was amazing and the chef was amazing. Took my bro for his first experience. Got so much food I had leftovers for 2... days. I absolutely love going to Shogun and they NEVER disappoint ?? Read more

Best bistro in Bowling Green. They don?t have reservations so expect to wait. The Yum Yum sauce is what makes Shogun so... special. The Bento Box is the BEST deal. Everyone loves their Crazy Boy rolls. It?s a must see if you find yourself in BowlingGreen Read more

Shogun is my favorite hibachi restaurant but be aware you will definitely have to wait at least a hour for a hibachi grill meal... any day of the week. I?ve been going to this place for decades and they don?t use all of their grills like they use to likelydue to Covid or lack of chefs, hence the longer wait times. Nevertheless the sushi is still amazing and hibachi food is stilldelicious, even the next day. Also I noticed during my last visit, they do not start the grill with a big fire anymore so thatwas a bit of surprise. Read more

Great service. Food was plentiful and price right. Not the best hibachi I have had but decent. No "golden" shrimp. Shrimp... on the small side. The fried rice was just white rice with Teriyaki. Not a bad dinner at all. Just not a 5 star. Read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. The absolute worst Japanese food we?ve ever had. The sushi had rice that was mushy... like paste (you can see it in the picture) The ramen broth was like greasy water. The pork topping was cold -cooked but stillcold. The $18 bento box came with sushi OR rice not both. The soup that comes with the meal was beyond bland. The spring rollswere the worst kind of pre-made frozen kind you get for a couple bucks at the grocery store. Our total bill was ~$45. We paidand left. Do not waste your money or time. Read more
