For the second time, friends and I went to The Bistro for Sunday Brunch. The first time I ordered the burger and it was just... okay. (I'm certain it was the toppings which weren't to my taste. Others probably enjoyed it.) My friends ordered the cod andraved about how good it was. Yesterday, I ordered the Champagne Chicken. OMG! It was one of the best things I've ever eaten inmy life! The flavors were exquisite! One of my friends ordered the French Toast, and she was in heaven. After trying a bite, Ivisited there with her. I highly recommend trying The Bistro. It's a decision I'm certain you won't regret. The Chef is topnotch! My compliments to him/her!!! Read more

I love the building and the interior of this restaurant. The art in this place is so excellent. The beer menu was basic and... limited. Cocktails are the way to go. I had so much hope for the menu, so I ordered the Basil Chicken with arugula. It waspresented well, but that was it. It was the driest chicken I've ever had. I had all my table mates try some, and withoutprompting, they all said it was the dryest chicken they had ever had. We pointed it out to our server, and (+1 star), withouthesitation, reported it to the manager and kitchen. They offered me another menu item on the house, but I passed. They compedthe meal. Bad experience this time but good response from staff/management. Will try again in the future but will stay awayfrom the chicken. Read more

So funny story… I order two Manhattans for my wife and I. Both were on the too sweet side. I can drink it. My wife says... please add a little more whiskey to make it a little drier. So sure, off to the bar I go. Bartender adds a bit more, thanks forthat. The waitress returns and tells me she has to charge me $2.00 dollars more. Geeze, I would have paid five dollars more ifthey made the drink right in the first place. The pork chop was too salty and the pasta was over cooked. The place haspotential, I would hope they could get it together. Just saying. Read more

Hannah was our waitress and she was great. There were two seafood specials which were fantastic Salmon and Chilean Sea... Bass. We had a few appetizers and my favorite was the Bacon wrapped dates! Quick service with a smile! Thanks Hannah! Read more

Nice little downtown restaurant in BG. None of the food was exceptional, at least not the night we went, but neither was any of... it bad. Better than many others for sure. The menu is eclectic and full of surprises. My ribeye special was $45 and not worth$20 (medium was more like well done). The seafood special was delicious. Dessert wasn’t what I was expecting. Drinks wereinteresting. Salad great. Our server was phenomenal and the atmosphere perfect for a date. I will definitely be back and amcurious how the next round will go. Read more

My favorite restaurant in Bowling Green. Different specials each visit, different desserts each visit, same good service each... visit. The rabbit is always a go to but tried the cooks choice burger which had fig jam on it, delicious. Get the board for anappetizer that has all kinds of cheeses and meats. A must visit while in BG.
