The food and beer were fine. It is however the service that I was very concerned about. It was fine service overall but at the... end of my meal I asked if I could have a beer to go. This place offers that service through howlers and growlers. My waitresshowever brought me back a beer in an open plastic cup and said "here's your to go beer". I told her that I cannot drive with anopen beer in my car and I do not want to drink it here I want it to go home with me. She then said "you can go across the streetto Circle K and get a cup there". I opted to finish the beer and leave rather than arguing. However, having told people aboutthis strange experience, I learned this isn't the only time this has happened and felt I needed to review. Edit: having seenthe owner's reply I've decided to increase the review rating. While I understand that your restaurant is in that outdoor areathat allows people to walk around with their beer, I specifically said to her that I wanted to take the beer home with me andthat I can't drive with an open beer. I am willing to attribute this to a misunderstanding and hope the issue is resolved.Thank you for your time. Read more

After waiting an hour to get our salad that we asked for twice, the waitress tells us that our order hasn?t even been put in... yet. At no point during our time there did she say it would be a longer wait. It wasn?t even crowded. This is NOT the placeto unless you have an unlimited amount of time to wait and you?re not hungry. Oh my gosh, yall. If you're in BG, The Stone's Throw is the place to go. I had their grilled cheese with Brie and mustard... sauce, and it was superb. The 'From the Door to the Floor' drink was really tasty, too! Read more

This is a nice Irish bar with a wide beer selection. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I had the pulled pork and... other members had the fish and chips. All the food was well prepared and tasty. I took off one star for not being able tosample a beer prior to purchase but they do offer a sample which is 5 oz for 3$ less than beer price. I recommend trying thisplace for yourself. Read more
