I have been ordering food from this location for a long time and I always miss to put up a review. But last night I had my... sister family visiting me from Markham and they wanted to order Mary brown and I insisted they should try Bowmanville Popeyes,so we ordered. They were surprised to see that chicken was so fresh crispy and far less oily than Markham Popeyes. I told herthat the food is always fresh and hot. Never tasted old oil sort of thing. And on top of it the service is excellent. I thinkthe credit goes to the store manager Pooja. She has an amazing memory, she always recognizes me over the phone and give anexceptional service. Well got their 14 piece offer special and asked for mild, and of course they gave us the spicy one instead. No one in my family... can eat spicy stuff. That meal went to the garbage! Thanks popeys. My husband is now eating gaviscon like crazy and drinkingmilk he has an ulcer. My daughter is coughing her brains out cause the poor kid is hungry but can't handle the heat! What awaste of money. A very inconsistent restaurant all round, sometimes the chicken is some of the best you?ve ever had and you wonder if they?ve... upped their game then other times the chicken is downright disgusting. The fries are either crispy and are the perfect fry andthen other times they?re almost hollow from being cooked so long.
