My mother and I haven't had food from here in maybe a year or so and I was craving the ginger scallion lobster dish. Inflation... has definitely made its way into the prices here now and the dish has gone up to over$60. Happy was the gentleman that helped uson the phone. He was very kind and allowed my mother and I to use a coupon for a free small side of fried rice (she had oldermenus that didn't stipulate that it be paid in cash) also delivered it to us as well. Happy suits him well as we were all smilesat delivery time. Despite the high price (lobster was 2.5lbs) we shared the dish and the lobster was fresh, delicious, andfilling. We have been going here for YEARS and our waitress Theresa is Amaaazing. Always takes good care of us. Food is always hot and... fresh. The egg drop soup is awesome and we live their spring rolls. Fav Chinese place around! Read more
They USED TO have the best fried rice in the county, but they must have changed ownership because the fried rice we were served... today had a peculiar smell and taste to it, almost like it had gone rancid. It was dark dark brown and tasted so bad I had tospit it out for fear of getting sick! If the new owners don?t start listening to their customer?s reviews and change their friedrice, they aren?t going to be in business very much longer. I had a very bad experience. When I complained about how bad was the fried rice they now serve the waitress said would you like... white rice? She did not seem to care. When I told the "boss" , he did not care either, he just said that is how we make friedrice now. It tasted like left over rice from the day before with nothing in it. There food has also gone down in quality. Maybethe old owners will come back and teach the new owner or take it back. Read more
Just to start out, the fried rice is abysmal at best. Sometimes the food can be good, other times not so much. Consistently... lately has been an issue with this restaurant the last few times I have ordered. While the portions are very generous, sometimesit feels the price just isn?t worth it. The soup can be a hit or a miss at times. The egg rolls are usually pretty good, andtheir lo Mein isn?t too bad, but it?s a toss of the coin sometimes as to how pleasurable your experience will be. Ordered on GrubHub and added extra notes for my order requesting extra honey garlic sauce. I also requested extra scallions for... my wonton soup. I have no problem paying for additional items. Clearly they did not bother reading any of the notes. This is thethird and final time I will be ordering from them since they were taken over by new management.
