First time at Oliver Garden. We got a gift card from someone and wanted to give it a try. The food tasted great and the portions... were generous. The menu was very carb-focused (bread, pasta, flours, potatoes, etc.) which was not something we are used to, butit tasted well. The service was great and very speedy. Our server, Coby, was very attentive and generous. That said, therestaurant looked a bit older and smelled funny as soon as you walked in. I've almost always had a positive experience with Olive Garden, but not so much this time around. Unfortunately, I think our... waiter may've been new since he wasn't very hospitable. He disappeared for at least 15 minutes, did not repeat our order, andmost importantly, got our order very wrong. I probably said three, four times that I wanted my steak as rare and bloody as theycould make it without it being right out of the slaughterhouse, but what I received was the most well done steak I've ever seen(tasted like a boot) and fettuccine Alfredo that was overcooked and looked and tasted like like it was seasoned with dandruff. Ido understand that I could've sent the steak back, but the waiter had already disappeared for a good 15, maybe 20 minutesbeforehand and I didn't want to wait even longer for food. He also forgot about our unlimited salad. I can't give this five oreven four stars based on this experience, but please don't take this negativity to all Olive Gardens. All but this one have beenamazing and high-class dining experiences and I can't speak for everyone who's eaten here. But, perhaps find a differentlocation, as this one was definitely not great. Ordered for take out. The person who took my order was friendly. My large order was ready when they said it would. It was hot... and fresh. The food was great and the waiter was polite, what I didn’t like was the poor or lack of training he had. Management could do... a better job at training their staff at giving good service, not just being polite. (1) Keep an eye on the customer’s drinks,be ready to ask if they want a refill. (2) Keep table neat, take empty cups, plates etc. (3) Stay alert! Waiters and waitresses,you guys make money off tips, good service equals good tips. Read more

The hostess was inattentive when seating us. She seemed put off when seating my family of six; As she was exasperated with our... initial approach. Also, when asking her for the restroom, she was on the phone with a heated personal conversation. [female,Black, 5"4, early 30's] In addition, the men's restroom was overwhelming as it had four kinds of scent boosters. Two in urinal,one in the toilet, and aerosol spray on the sink. Perhaps a bit overkill? Nevertheless, the food service was as expected froman Olive Garden. We were served at appropriate times and received our food with no complaints. The customer service is great. Most of the food is delicious like the lasagna But this time my chicken marsala could had more... mushrooms and sauce but when I ask for me the sauce was so salty I spend the rest of the day drinking water. Read more
