Tables needed to be wiped off. Ordered a regular burger and one without a bun. The food was put on the counter, our number was... called and the person disappeared before we could get to the counter. I needed a least a fork to eat mine. Had to yell to getsomeone's attention to get that and ketchup for our fries. The iced tea tasted like tea-flavored pool water. It's been about 5years since we've eaten in a Steak 'n Shake but in another state. Never again. Read more
The night manager is rude. I asked for a chocolate coke, always have gotten them there, told me they couldn't, wouldn't add the... chocolate. Not a hard thing to do. If this particular location keeps these types of employees that don't and won't accommodatetheir customers, their businesses will suffer. I'm not going back!! Read more
Pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh, presented well. Place was clean including the kitchen. Food didnt take long at all.... Employees cleaning the tables. Hard to find places like this nowadays. The owner is doing something right here Read more
This location has gone downhill. They mess up orders all the time and can never figure out how to redeem rewards with the... app. Tonight, they messed up a butter double steakburger. It's supposed to have carmelized onions and melted butter. When myhusband brought it home, it had neither the caramelized onions nor the melted butter that's supposed to come on the burger. Thebun was right, but that means I paid the extra $3 this sandwich charges for a bun. I did get the bacon I ordered extra. When Icalled to complain, no one answered the phone. Bought 2 shakes for my daughter and I. Also some food. When arriving home. The shake cardboard holder decided it didn't want to... carry drinks anymore. It ripped quickly and the drinks took a dive onto the parking lot. I went back to the location amd theyresupplied me with 2 new shakes and a heftier drink carrier, no questions asked. I never should have gone through drive thru. I live 1 mile away. By the time got home my meal was ice cold. Hamburger & Fries.... ????. The cheese on the burger not even melted. Apparently they don't cook as ordered. This place has gone way down in quality.I guess the lack of customers is a good sign of problems. The only good thing....the Oreo Shake was good. Read more
a first time customer and was asked 2x at the window to confirm the order, so that's now 3x that I said "2 small fries". Too... bad I didn't look till we got home, and too bad there was only one fries. The thing is I called to let them know, no big deal, but then was hung up on. Read more
