This was my absolute favorite restaurant in Bozeman. Everything was so delicious. I snagged a seat at the bar right by where... Chef Kenan Anderson was expediting the orders (and training new staff). I was so rapt up in watching the whole kitchen ritual, Iforgot to snap a photo of the chef. The restaurant, btw, was totally booked/jammed by 5pm. I started my dinner with the goatliver pate (scrumptious!) and then, having watched all the pizzas rolling out of the oven, I ordered the Mostarda pizza(prosciutto, grana padano, mozzarella and arugula). SUBLIME!! I could only eat half. Took the rest back to the hotel for thelobby staff - they were thrilled! I also ordered the chocolate budino for dessert - it was good but not on par with the pate orthe pizza. Blackbird is also another "wine and beer only" place but in this instance, I forgot all about my perfect manhattanand just focused on that pizza. Read more
To me this is the best restaurant in Bozeman . The restaurant gets really busy, they keep seats for walk-in customers. They... don't put names on the wait-list over the telephone. They have happy hour everyday from 16:30-17:30 on the barside We didn'thave to wait to long to get a seat, even though the restaurant was quite busy. It was a beautiful summer evening so we decidedto eat at an outside. The employees were friendly and helpful. Really good food, especially the pizza that was baked in a woodfire oven. I have 3 words for you? Wood. Fired. Oven. *drool* Mouthwatering flavors in every dish. I love sitting at the bar overlooking... the kitchen and watching the magic happen. This talented team serves up deliciousness dish after dish. The pizzas are absolutelyincredible, the meatballs and fresh bread in marinara is *chef?s kiss* and the drinks are delicious.
