At drive through, they didn't have what I wanted. So I ordered something else, and while waiting for my order, watching the gent... who took my order lean on the counter and do nothing instead of adding the salad to my order. They of course charged me for it.So I called, the woman argued with me and said it was not there fault. I said thanks for wasting my time, taking my $ and notgiving me the food I ordered in return. Of leaning and doing nothing is their excuse for forgetting an item, then I am donebeing a patron at your restaurant. We got food from this restaurant about once a week...not anymore! Read more

Tried to order on the phone for pick up, but apparently they were to busy to take an order. I showed up to order and It took... almost an hour to get the food. Which a manager came out and apologized for the wait but someone apparently dropped the chikenon the ground. (Atleast they told us they dropped it". Came in for the beef festive special which I love,, low and behold at 615 they are out of beef and no potatoes.?? At 615.?? So... we order 2 festive dinners to go, get home the stuffing still fridge cold, one dinner had 2 empty rib bones as part of the mealand no stuffing, no 10 dollar voucher and one chocolate.. too bad I used to like Swiss chalet, this location has more than oncenow failed to deserve more than a 2 star... We contacted head office about a disaster of a delivery experience with this store. Head office after taking weeks to get back... to us (after being promised a 48 hour response), outright lied saying the issue was our credit cards and they don?t take ourkind of credit cards? aka a Canadian Visa or a Canadian Mastercard, or Apple Pay. Both cards we attempted to use that kepterroring have been used in store at this location and online before with them. When the delivery driver arrived she told us theynever carry machines and cash at the door was the only payment they accept. Again the response from head office was a lie sayingwe didn?t turn it on at check out so that?s why the driver didn?t have a machine. What happened to ?honesty is the best policy?a quick ?we?re sorry our system wasn?t working? would have been better than blatant lies and customer blaming. Head officeresponse: Our Team have reviewed your order history in our system and have found that the problem was related to the specificcredit cards that were used. Unfortunately, our system is unable to process those cards as a pre-authorized method of payment. We did review the tenders available at the Restaurant and unfortunately "Pay at the Door" was not turned on, hence for theDriver arriving with no machines. Scary place with a super sticky table and odd tasting ketchup (?) Service was great with a very friendly attentive server.... However, I truly believe the washroom had not been cleaned in months!!!! There was embedded pee stains against the wall andfloor joints. It was so old it had turned a crusty brown. Hairs and pee coated the back of the toilet and the floor in thestall. The entire floor stuck to my feet as it was so sticky with urine etc. Where are the inspectors? I'm kind of worried aboutfood poisoning now! This place should be condemned. Read more

Visited this Swiss Chalet location at around just minutes to 6pm on Saturday 08 OCT 2022. The waiters and waitresses were very... welcoming. Heather was our waitress and she was EXTREMELY pleasant and kind. She was extremely busy but tended to our needs.Only thing is that this location is severly understaffed and it was pretty obvious these workers were under a lot of pressure -even though they handled it well. Please get more workers. Great job otherwise staff!! Read more

Worse service received from all the Swiss chalet I have been to, we were greeted at the door, brought us to a table, the... waitress at that section ( long blonde hair) never came to acknowledge us, she looked over to us couple of times, taking care ofother 2 tables, cleaned some tables but would never come over to serve us or take our order, finally after sitting there for more than 15 minutes, by now we come to believe she does not plan on serving us, is it because I am Asian? we got up slowly puton our jackets to leave, nor she or anyone else comes over to talk to us at all, don?t know why the lack of service as theyweren?t busy at all, we will never be back to this place again!! Went for supper and ended up walking out because nobody ever came to get our order after being seated to a table. And, the... table was sticky as in not washed/cleaned properly. I know restaurants are short staffed, but when staff are standing aroundtalking.... bad, bad service. Read more
