HOLY COW. If there's a taco debate in Pittsburgh, Brassero should win it. It's quick, fresh and absolutely delicious. The... portions are generous and the prices are too reasonable. I've paid more for less in both quantity and taste. I boldly jumpedright in with keilbasa tacos and a double order of churros. Amazing. Get the bean dip and fresh real guac. Fries and chips and many multiple house made hot sauces, both spicy and mild.... Special falafel so delicious. Molé poblano so delicious - complex and flavorful. Burritos always good - we love the kilbasawith nice fresh spinach feels healthy. BYOB some cans from Brew Gentlemen next door, make it a great day for yourself and yourloved ones. It is probably less crowded here so better to bring cans here than try to bring takeout there... Anyone who has ever known me knows that, on a good day, I'm so-so about going out for Mexican food. My girlfriend and I wanted... to go out for her last night in town, and we stumbled upon Brassero. I've never changed my mind so quickly in my life. The foodwas awesome, and so good in fact I came back today for lunch to go before my girlfriend leaves, it was that amazing. Theemployees are all friendly and frankly great people. The sous chef saw me in an awkward conversation with a sketchy dude Ididn't really want to be talking to, and made sure I was alright and not being bothered too much. I wish my photos of the fooddid them any justice, too, because I only got pictures of the meals I got to go. The plating in the restaurant is top quality. The food is sooooo good. Yes, quality may take a little bit, but they literally make their chips in-house!!! And their own... tortillas (which wraps every taco). You want food that you literally see the chef make in front of you from scratch? A bit ofMexican fusion? This food is the bomb. Like spicy? Ask for their homemade habanero sauce.
