Short on staff and what staff they had were inexperienced. There were several people waiting to be seated despite obvious empty... tables and one guy who complained that another party had been seated ahead of him was shouted down. We said we'd get a drinkwhile we waited, but the waitress fussed that we couldn't take our drinks away from the bar, despite all the bar seats beingfull. We walked and went elsewhere We've been coming to this restaurant every fall for decades and it's sad to see its slowdecline from a once vibrant place with good service to such indifferent standards. They need to buck their ideas up and hiresome decent staff. Read more

We had a mix up with payment through the online ordering system, called the restaurant directly, they didn't have the order but... it had charged our card. They quickly took our order over the phone and got it cooking. When I arrived the manager was waitingand ready to figure it out. We got it all set and they took amazing care of me! Top notch customer service especially when facedwith an issue. The food was great and is always spot on! Are server was really good. He was honestly the best server we have had in a long time. The food was just BAD, the spinach... artichoke dip was runny, the chips were small shards and crumbs. There are only a handful of cheese curds. We didn't complainbut the waiter brought us another batch. just seeing how ridiculous it was. We had never ordered it before and didn't know.Don't get the chicken tenders they are just not good. The pretzel with beer cheese was very good. Cold chicken, ice cold fries. Chip Dip turned on it's side and miserable half full. Not returning. Back to five guys, culver's... or outback. 40 bucks could have ate anywhere and I won't come back to applebees. I live less than 5 minutes away, miserableservice. Took almost 20 minutes to even ask me about a drink. I ordered a simple meal of chicken fingers and fries. What I got,... shockingly 5 minutes later was slightly warmed tenders and cold rubbery fries. I'm starving so I ate the Tenders. Told theserver about the fries but it didn't seem yo phase them. I had asked for honey mustard but it took them so long to bring it, Iate my tenders. I had to ASK for a discount and the Manger, I assume. gave me a whopping 2 bucks off a $14.00 meal of warmedchicken tenders. I'll never step foot in this restaurant again. Finally was able to get out for an evening at 10 pm , and was brought drinks and watched as the waitresses , the Hispanic girl... who brought our drinks and another girl walked by for 15 minutes and no one took our order. So we left. Figured we would try itagain , as last time a few months ago the main entrees were not so great, but the appetizers were ok. Won?t be back ! This location is right off of University and Lockwood ridge. Very easy to get to. The staff is always super friendly and nice.... The atmosphere is typical of an Applebee's. Plenty of TVs and bar food. It seems like the last few times I've been to thislocation, the food has been at par at best. I'm not one to give a bad review unless something's very terrible. The food couldimprove. I'm not sure if this is a menu issue or the cooking in the back. End of the day you still can't beat two for one onyour drinks. Read more
