we were here a few weeks ago and we had an absolutely terrible experience. It took them almost 10 minutes to acknowledge & seat... me at the hostess stand, then another 15 minutes until our server even came over to our table. After she took our order, it tookover 20 minutes for us to receive our side salads and our entrees almost 45 minutes after ordering. Food was cold and overcooked probably from sitting under the heat lamps for too long. Our server never came back to check in on us. when we tried toflag her down for the check, she looked at us and nodded her head and proceeded to ignore us and walk outside. She never cameback over to our table. My boyfriend had to go over to the bar to grab our check and pay. Table behind us was being ignored byher as well. In the throws of hurricane Ian, the minimal staff was in their last hour before closing, they worked so hard to get everyone... taken care of the best that they could, and they were amazing!! There were a people that complained about a wait, but -Applebee's was the ONLY restaurant still open, so they should have been happy to get fed. I certainly was and I got there at6pm! It was not quite the 36th wedding anniversary dinner I was planning, but we hit it on our way to evacuate, and it was good.The Blondie was fantastic!! Thank you to all the staff who worked Tuesday evening 9/27. A special shout out to the bartender, hewas rocking it with all the people coming in, and those complaining about the wait. Read more
By far the worst Applebee's on the planet. No Managers. Teenagers, without any type of work ethics run this dump. 5 people in... the entire restaurant and we sat there for 20 minutes while 3 teenage so- called employees ran by our table without beingacknowledged. Walked out, and the teenage host just looked at us all glassy eyed, as we pulled out of the parking lot. ToApplebee's corporate... either fired the so called manager and replace them with someone who can be a house mother that canhandle these 1st time workers or bulldoze the place. Went to the 301 Applebee's and were sat and order taken in 5 minutes; evenat a very busy restaurant. You should be ashamed of the Manatee Applebee's. Read more
This is by far the worst Applebee's! It's never busy, but for some reason it takes forever to get service. This last time we... just walked out. We waited 15 minutes and 3 servers walked right by us and didn't even acknowledge us. Get it together! Read more
I always call ahead and get my food to-go. The staff always gets my order right, it?s ready quickly, and they include my extra... ranch and anything else I ask them for. Great customer service Read more
I wish they had at least one outstanding meal. I've been a number of times to various Applebee's and have yet to be served... anything but average. I've tried many items. Server? Well if I comment on her, there would be less than three stars. Read more
Something has changed in the last 3 months. We visited on a sunday night and the place was fairly empty. We may have had a new... server not sure. That being the case I do not believe that it was all her fault. The food was sub-par and with the french dipthere was no dip. She informed us that it was still being prepared. Well why bring the sandwich if its not complete? had to asktwice for the au jus first after 10 minutes. At that time i handed the sandwich back and told her to either keep it warm in thekitchen or remake the meal as a whole. Another 20 minutes past and we had enough. hunted the server down and ask for the check.It still had the missing meal on it! Not happy with service, food quality or management for this one. The server asked "Oh doyou want to take that off?" What? you want me to pay for a meal the I never got? It felt like and episode of Chef Ramsey's 24Hours in Hell. Read more
Food was awful? My meal was way over cooked and the menu was incorrect! I was there for Veterans Day, but I was almost killed... today? Your menu called for Steak, garlic mash patois and broccoli?. I got a VERY burned piece of meat, the mash potatoes wereNOT garlic, and I was served corn with red peppers?. I am allergic to red peppers! Service was no where around! OUCH! Read more
