not even worth the one star to begin with. We had a family dinner there on Monday if that's what you wanna call it and from the... service all the way to the food I wouldn't even write one star. Mine and my sisters drink didn't even come until our dinner camethe app came after the food and when you order steak to be ready to eat a hamburger patty that's like the size of a slider. Theserver was too busy chitchatting to know if we needed anything when she brought the kids cups we didn't even have a straw. bothof the drinks from the bar were disgusting literally couldn't even drink them. I was told there's nothing I can do about itbecause it's a specialty drink OK but if I don't like it I'm not satisfied what am I paying for? So I was made to pay forsomething that I didn't like... we were overcharged for the kids meal as well. the rolls and butter and water was out dinner...will NEVER GO BACK. and being a server in town i get it. but this was a bit much. very disappointed. My favorite local BBQ place. Loved this place since I first visited Bradenton years ago. Now that I'm over here permanently we... have been going once a month or so. All the food is great, service is typically good too. Their ribs are great and the saladbowls are a huge added value! Prices aren't bad considering how much food you get. Definitely gets busy during the dinnerhours, but it's open a bit later so you can skip the rush and eat in peace! Since it's a BBQ place there are lots of gluten anddairy free options, which is perfect for my wife who has allergies. My kids love it too and usually get shrimp or chickenfingers. My wife and I have been searching for the best onion rings in the SRQ area and decided to give Cody's a try. It was our regular... date night and it was crowded (Friday). We found two seats at the bar and quickly ordered as we were headed to a movieafterwards. They arrived and we were pleasantly surprised. A tall tower of huge , fresh, hot onion rings. Excellent place and excellent food. The place is set like an old car garage, full of decorative details such as license plates,... gas stations, cars and neon lights, it is simply incredible. The food is at the same level and the grilled meat stands out,served with barbecue sauce and at the right point. The attention is excellent, always with a good humor and a smile and theystay chatting with the diners which makes the moment even more pleasant. So delicious! Our table ordered the soup and salad, pulled pork sandwich, 2 tracks of ribs and the porterhouse. It was SO... MUCH FOOD we all left with doggie bags! The French onion soup was SO GOOD! The ribs were falling off the bone, finger lickinggood! Even the sides were perfect! Pomegranate tea and strawberry lemonade added to the experience.
