They are back! When my wife and I are in Florida we eat at the Bradenton location at least once per visit. Our last visit did... not live up to expectations, I contacted Metro via their website, and they responded with a code for $$ off--requesting we comeagain. We stopped by on 9/6/22--and everything was excellent. My wife ordered her usual--the fried chicken salad--excellent asusual, I ordered the spicy honey chicken sandwich. Two hot chicken breasts and (my standard gauge of a good pass) very hotfries. I had to give only 4 stars until I have multiple consistent experiences. Absolutely AMAZING! We stopped in here on a whim and we are so happy we did! The place was packed at 6:15pm on a Saturday but we... only waited about 10 minutes for a table to be cleared. I tried chicken and waffles for the first time and requested tendersinstead of the half chicken. When Lekeisha came to the table to prepare the sweet and spice sauce I was skeptical (syrup mixedwith hot sauce). I thought it was for the waffle but she quickly explained it was for the chicken and suggested I give it a tryif I like spicy food. I am so glad I did? It was fantastic! The chicken came out piping hot and crunchy. The sauce went so wellwith the chicken. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The waffle came with strawberry butter which I also wasn?t sure aboutbut it was another delicious pairing. I really cannot express how delightful this meal was. It was also very generouslyportioned. I was stuffed and only ate half. My husband ate the mushroom Swiss burger and said it was very good (high praise fromhim). The bacon was crunchy and the lettuce was crisp. The entire burger was savory and delicious. The staff were extremelycourteous. Lekeisha had worked a 12+ hour shift and was still very pleasant and had good energy. The cook in the open viewkitchen area was also very nice and interacted well with his device team. The entire experience was enjoyable and we will beback to try more menu items. Brunch was ok. Nothing great, nothing terrible. I would have liked to see more coffee options. The apple cinnamon waffle was a... little mushy and the rest of the table felt their meal was average. I probably won?t return for brunch again. Read more

A well deserved 5 star place! We were seated and our waitress was Rita! She came and introduced herself to us and she mentioned... that she was one of the managers. She was very Knowledgeable of the menu and recommend the Chicken and Waffles!! Now when arestaurant has a "secret" sauce on their menu it's normally nothing special. BUT let me tell you this place has surpassed myexpectations. The food was absolutely amazing and fresh. Service was above and beyond, way to go Rita leading by example! Veryfriendly and respectful.
