Very good breakfast. Unique, flavorful, big portions. I added bacon to the breakfast burrito that was vegetarian and it was... good. My buddy had sage biscuit with a huge breaded chicken breast on it and it was amazing. French toast was top notch as well. Read more
3.5 as high, with many other better places to go in Sarasota and Bradenton. Don?t know why is a 4.7, but everyone is entitle to... their own opinion. First the welcoming was not so good. Lady outside slightly rude and tell us would be a 30 mins. wait. Ok?. Bar inside with two chairs open between patrons, but they did not want to move or accommodate us there. Again we were?escorted? out as we were not allowed to wait inside for a chair at the bar because we block. Service is friendly but poor andrequest are not done as asked. Somewhat slow. Food is tasty but nothing out of the extraordinary for any regular breakfastrestaurant. I was expecting more flavor, more gourmet, something different. Place need some repairs and cleansing. Friendly atmosphere, clean, and the food was exceptional. Very well priced! I was impressed so I had to return a second time in... a week to try another item on the menu! Unfortunately, no pick of the Fiesta bowl!!!! Read more
The place was not the cleanest. We waited a long time (1 hour after being seated) for our food while others seated after us got... their food. The food was ok nothing special for all the hype. We got grits (not pictured) and they were clumpy and notgood. The Strawberry French Toast was undercooked and didn't taste good. 2.5???? The Banana Brioche French Toast taste good butit was cold. 4 ????The Jalapeño Bacon Fried Green Tomato Benedict was also good but cold 4 ???? Great brunch spot! We got the southwestern scramble, veggie skillet, & Belgian waffle. All superb!
Everyone enjoyed their food except me. I ordered the banana crunch oatmeal. The banana and the granola were really good but my... oatmeal was more like old porridge. It was disappointing. I should have asked if it was premade or they made it to order. Verymushy. Sage biscuits and gravy were really good. Fruit was right and everybody enjoyed their drinks and food other than that. We enjoyed dining Al Fresco at Sage Biscuit Cafe. I had the biscuits and gravy ($10) which was scrumptious. The biscuits were... unique with a delicious additive of herbs baked in and the gravy had chunks of sausage like my grandmother used to make. And,the roasted potatoes side were the best I have ever had...crispy outside and fluffy inside. My Friend had the chicken, avocado,rice bowl which was both filling and healthy. Plenty if parking and outside seating. But this place packs up quickly for brunch. Food is very good, with lots of options fir... those with dietary needs, like Vegan. Great staff and super clean with quick service. My only issue was price. For 2 simplebreakfasts, with nonalcoholic drinks, over 40,with tip. Seemed a little high.
