Moved here from Long Island in February. First time ordering pizza since leaving NY and I get this ???? how lazy are you you... can’t even make your own knots?? And this was my $15 fried calamari which was the furthest from advertised. With so many goodreviews I was expecting a lot more! Tried this place again(take out). The restaurant is filthy, the servers were filthier andthe food was absolutely terrible; again!! Spelled My name out for them and still somehow got the wrong name and when I told themit wasn’t Dan the absolutely disgusting guy who checked me out managed to repeat my name wrong another 20 times in onesentence. This place needs to much to fix. Wouldn’t take my family here if it were free. Also your food is not made fromscratch. Read more

I gave 5 stars because the food was excellent!! I arrived 30 min before closing and service was very delayed. I will go back... because the food was wonderful!! I ordered spaghetti carbonara. They have fettuccini carbonara on the menu. I had themsubstitute spaghetti for the fettuccine. Also ordered garlic bread knots they were awesome. Definitely highly recommend andworth the drive!! I never leave bad reviews, but I am so disappointed. Tonight we ordered take out from here for the first time and it was some of... the worst food I’ve ever had. The Caesar salad came without any dressing or croutons, as well as lots of romaine lettuce thatlooked to be going bad. The Italian wedding soup had no flavor with a watered down broth. We asked a local about the restaurant and didn’t get a favorable review, but we thought we’d take a chance. The place was... busy. There was a band in the back room, singing older music. Seemed after they were done the place cleared out. The food wasgood. Portions a good size, not huge but not small. The flavor was very good. The chicken Marsala was cooked good. Chicken verytender. Sauce was good. A little runnier than I’ve had before. But it was flavorful. The penne with Italian sausage andpeppers was also tasty. Not a heavy sauce. It was a great choice for the evening. The garlic knots were everything people raveabout. No skimping on the garlic or butter. Service was ok. Took a while for anyone to acknowledge that we were there, eventhough we were noticed. But, we get it. We don’t expect a lot of servers these days because we know people are short staffedand seem overworked. We’d come back for sure! Read more
We had a delicious home style Italian meal here in a pleasant outdoor setting. We don't often find veal but we were happily... surprised to discover it on the menu. It was so tender that it cut like butter. The sever suggested a full bodied wine whichpaired well with our meal. All the staff are very pleasant. Thanks for a great experience Scarpino. Read more
Delicious! Scarpino’s may not look like much from the outside, but oh baby do you want to treat yourself. If you’re looking... for amazing Italian food, this is it. Our party of 14 was greeted with a big smile, seated promptly. Our app and drink orderwas taken immediately. Awesome recommendations from our server, Jacob, who was great. Large portions, flavored exactly how youhope, and all 14 of us were served at the same time. Food came out hot! Everything about this dinner was fantastic. Good food, garlic knots are a favorite. The shrimp pasta was not on point this time. The pizza was good.
