The restaurant was extremely busy during our visit here for dinner. There was a 5 minute wait for a table. Even though the... servers were overwhelmed by the crowded restaurant, they managed to attend to the customers' needs. The food was excellent andserved HOT, and was better the expected. We visited South Philly this evening for dinner and it was amazing! We both got the "Garlic Bomb" Philly and it was the best... philly I've had in a long time. I personally don't like spicy food so it was a kick to me because of the Hot peppers. Some mayso they aren't hot but to me they are. The Philly was excellent and we will definitely order from them again. Next time I willget it without the hot peppers so I can eat the whole thing! I highly recommend checking out this local restaurant, fries ando-rings were definitely good as well. Not to mention it wasn't crazy expensive! Thank you South Philly for the great dinner! Read more
Busy place so call in your order before coming to pick it up. I had to wait 20 for my sandwich, but it was worth it. The... sandwiches are LOADED!! The staff were friendly and made some helpful recommendations. Tried the following: Cheesesteak --good but a bit spicy Garlic bomb -- good but has too much garlic Choc banana milk shake -- very good andthick RECOMMENDATIONS: Next time I'd ask for a little less hot pepper for the Cheesesteak, and for the garlic bomb don't addgarlic to meat just get the meat on the garlic bread. I'd also ask for half the amount of cheese because they're prettygenerous with the cheese and you can really taste it which takes away from the steak flavor. They also include a bag of chipswith your sandwich which is pretty cool. Definitely try them out! Read more
