Terrible experience here for dinner. Waitress botched my order. Instead of bringing me the haddock with a side of mac and... cheese, she brings me an entree sized mac and cheese. My friend was served his main and side, so I assumed my main was stillbeing prepared. After about 15 minutes I ask about my main, and she responds?oh I thought you didn?t want the haddock.? Ofcourse I never cancelled the main, in fact I confirmed how I wanted the main to be cooked. No apology, no ?is there anythingElse I can do?? Instead of comping the mac and cheese as a courtesy for not taking my order correctly, they charged me 15$ forthe mac and cheese. After complaining, they reduced it to 7$. First time here. Overall good! Disappointed in the Caesar salad. Croutons weren't crunchy and no parmesan cheese. Onion rings... were awesome! Andy's Lo Mein was great. Vegetables were very fresh. Open face turkey sandwich was very good. Mashed potatoes andgravy were delicious. Again, veggies were great! Read more
What a find! I have lived here for a year, and have missed good food. Absolutely delicious!! We will be ordering from here... again. I also want to give a shout of thanks for still having curbside. My partner and I are unable to do indoor dining due tothe pandemic, and it is always greatly appreciated when places still have curbside for folks like us to utilize. Read more
Was a diamond! We were traveling and came across the jewel of a restaurant. The staff was wonderful but, the food was even... better. You can sit in the Tavern, dining room, or the beautiful wrap around that overlooks the lake. Loved the interestinghistory of the restaurant building. If you can stop by... stop! Read more
Appleseed did such a wonderful job catering our wedding! Nici was a pleasure to work with and was unbelievably accommodating,... calming and helpful when we called in a panic two weeks before our wedding after our first caterer backed out. She handledeverything and was able to make the entire menu gluten, dairy and nut free for our guests! We can?t say enough about thiscompany and would recommend them to anyone for any occasion!!!! Great local fare, rustic atmosphere, good service. Prices are higher but quality reflects accordingly. One of the few places... that has an actual salad bar. Owners also have a dinner boat on lake sunapee as well as an eatery in the harbor, both worthchecking out! Read more
Great service and staff. The salad was crisp and tasty. The steak tips were cooked ro my request and the mashed potatoes were... real and top of with great gravy. Only suggestion,some warm crusty bread with butter. Will be back for sure. PapaRay Read more
The brunch is usually great. I get so full that it affects my vision. Regular dinner service is fine too, definitely geared more... towards older folks who aren't very adventurous. Read more
