First time ever dining here last night..Friday night... not packed but 80% capacity... greeting while waiting for a tables was... odd... not unfriendly but not really courteous or professional. A wonderful lady explained my table's actual waitress wasswamped and that she would help me instead.... Ordered 10oz new york peppercorn steak asked for well done and server suggestedmedium rare. Steak came barely medium... very red and bloody with a peppercorn/bbq sauce and feta cheese crumble... flavour ofsauce was odd at first but actually quite good once I accepted that it was not traditional peppercorn sauce. I regretted notinsisting on well done steak as I don't like bloody steak. I was very hungry and chose to just eat it...a few nice ribbons offlavorful fat would have been edible if the steak were more well done and I think a well done outer crust would have beennice...however...the steak was pretty good in spite of it being chewier than I like... fries, corn on cob and cold beer all verygood. The server brought me bill and I asked if she would get the tip...she answered "no" the tables server would...I said thatI only interacted with her twice and she was unpleasant and I gave the actual server cash tip and zero for the "table server"...so overall a pretty confusing experience... Let me start by saying I'm a fan of the restaurant, but it's been degrading each visit We had a long wait for a table with... nobody ahead of us and a half empty restaurant. Nobody bothered to look over for about 10 minutes. Our burgers were both soooodry; way over cooked. They bother asking if we wanted another drink, we had to ask when they came to clear our old dishes. Iasked for a water and they brought a warm sprite or 7-up, but then I didn't see anybody ever again to change change it. Iliterally waiting over an hour before anybody even looked at us again so I could their attention to get my bill at that point,let alone get an actual water. Once I did, THEY STILL FORGOT TO BRING IT. After another 10 minutes I had to ask again. Over twohours for two of to have a burger and a couple of drinks. This location is NOT recommended. Read more

Dinner was amazing. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, baked potato was loaded, lobster was excellent. My husband had filet... mignon with lobster, loaded baked, corn and a beer . I had a new york striploin, loaded baked and corn and it was $70 foreverything. The server was very friendly and efficient. We were relutant to come here based on the reviews but are we ever gladwe did. Highly recommend great food for a great price. We will be back. Read more

Ordered take out on Wednesday 28 September 2022 and the food was average. Chicken wings were NOT crispy and the pasta was bland.... Will not order again. I know we are suppose to support local restaurants but we also need to get what we pay for. Read more

This complaint is for the owner. I just left the restaurant with my daughter who lives in Bradford. there was 3 of us that came... for lunch. I live in Edmonton Alberta. I come here to visit my daughter. I have gone to the restaurant many times in the pastand most of the time it's been good. Today not so much. We arrived at 1150 am. Amanda was the waitress. The place wasunderstaffed bigtime. she was the only waitress on duty and it was pretty busy being fathers day.At 1pm we still haven'treceived our meals. I had to tell Amanda that we had to leave because I have a flight leaving to go back to Alberta fromHamilton Airport. I told Amanda that I know this isn't her fault. she said she tried calling the owner but he didn't reply toher. I feel bad for her as she was by herself trying her best to accomadate all the customers. She definitely lookedoverwhelmed with everything. She shouldn't have to deal with this. We ordered Chuck?s Roadhouse last night for takeout on Skip the Dish! I was happy with how the food was packaged in reusable... plastic containers and, it was still hot when it arrived at the door. My 6 year old gives the Kids Cheese Burger. And, myhusband and I both enjoyed our dinner?s. He will say he enjoyed my Buffalo Tenders over, his Club Sandwich. Both were greatchoices.
