Not terribly priced. I Asked for brisket and rib plate to go and I got brisket and sausage. The sides (potato salad and Mac n... cheese) were decent. Brisket was tender but very dry and had no flavor. Sausage was the same. Not a good experience. Read more

The food was amazing,the waitress was great! We Been a group of six people, everything was on one ticket, we went to pay to... divide it the lady at the register overcharged us ,she didn't know how to divide what we order , supposed to be three couples ontwo tickets! We were driving through Brady around noon on a Friday and stopped here for lunch. The placed was packed! The dining room is seat... yourself with table service. It took a few minutes for the waitress to take and bring our drink order, however they were reallybusy. Our food came out very quickly though and was great! We would definitely eat here again. Passed this BBQ several times but it was always super busy. Now I know why! Great service, excellent smoked meats and delicious... sides. The ribs are smoked to perfection. The sausage is spiced nicely and not overwhelmingly greasy-like some places I?ve been.And the fried okra is crispy and delicious! The green chili mac-and-cheese is sinfully creamy. Hubs and I had ordered take out from here before but decided to dine in that evening. Absolutely horrible. Waitress probably in... her 40s or 50s, took our order? came out with our food and check. Never came to check on us, if she had we would have told hermy husband?s order was wrong. She checked on everyone around us. We just watched her. She even brought the check out w/ our foodso she didn?t have to deal w/ us. She was very rude and never even apologized but tried to blame another worker. If you?re aperson of color , with a person of color or have mixed kids/ adopted, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Youwill not be treated like a human being but an animal. Don?t spend your hard earn money here just to be treated like this ?absolutely disgusting! Giving it 2 stars because the young lady at the cash register did apologized and tried to make it right ?however the waitress who treated us bad stepped in and ruined it ? again. Read more
