A huge thanks to Pine Lodge! We found ourselves in the need of a last minute place to host fifteen people and they came through... for us with a nice room and some appetizers that were perfect for a mid-afternoon snack. We really appreciated theirhospitality. Read more

As parents of the bride, we would like to thank Jodi and Adam for the wonderful wedding venue (beach ceremony/rustic barn... celebration). Their flexibility and accommodation made the entire weekend a great success. Their one wedding per weekend policyallowed for stress free planning and decorating. Jodi had weather reports to the minute to ensure we could have the beachceremony without rain or prepare for a switch to plan B. With the recent addition to their outdoor forest chapel, Pine Lodgeoffers several options. The evening of our daughter?s wedding, Jodi produced the grandest charcuterie board that we have everseen. This, along with the hors d??uvres, went beyond our expectations. Adam and Jodi are a dynamic duo who go above and beyondto make the experience memorable for all! Highly recommended for a unique rustic wedding! Shane and Hélène Read more

Lovely amenities, a beautiful gem! The tiling in the shower and bathroom is Exquisite! & we loved the golf, beach, Splash pad &... dinner. Beautiful linens, plush pillows and 2 very happy little boys. Our room is cozy and bright & they offered cots as anoption for our young family. It's been a wonderful slumber party. We thoroughly enjoyed the service for dinner and drinks at Pine Lodge. We had a group of 15 so Jodi the event manager set us up... in a private room with table spacing as we requested. We pre-ordered our menu selections and the kitchen service and servingstaff (Lana) excelled with timing and excellent pub style food. Tanya the bartender provided outstanding service and was fun.Jodi was so attentive and flexible coordinating the gathering. We shall definitely be returning for dinner when we are inBristol QC. This is a wonderful family-owned business I was honoured to support in these challenging times when 'small', 'local' and... 'family-owned' are an endangered business species. Despite a staffing shortage and my bum knee the owners made time to make mecomfortable. It was a good experience. I had planned to be on a solo kayaking trip for 5 days when I tore the meniscus in myknee. I needed to get away and managed to book a room last minute at the lovely Pine Lodge. I cannot speak to the food as I hadalready dehydrated and prepped most of my food beforehand for my trip. Breakfast came with the room and I was surprised it was ahearty and delicious meat/eggs/home fries combo. My one suggestion would be to include a lighter option, ie: apple or bananawith a muffin. The room was rustic and clean. Cool also despite the heat. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable forthis 50+ gal. A shared and very clean bathroom among 3 rooms worked out much better than I would have expected. A chair (of anysize) in my room would have made my stay more comfortable. I knew it would be rustic and the price was reasonable. It was agreat last minute salvage, but this combined with the stairs and my injury made it challenging. I was a bit disappointed torealize that beach access meant I had to walk more than I was able. The owners made a point to let me know that they would behappy to drive me to and from the beach in their golf cart. And they did with cheerful and sunny dispositions. I did not feelcomfortable to take them away from their work, so I explored and found a few beautiful (public) beaches in the area I coulddrive up to. I highly recommend Portage du Fort (NOT for little ones d/t fast current). The Lodge was a major contributor tothe community July 1st fireworks ???? which were ???? ???? ???? spectacular. And the owners made sure I did not miss it,insisting to drive me to the beach launch site where I had the BEST seat in the house. In health ???? this coul Read more

While bicycling across Canada, we stayed and ate here. The food was excellent and the service friendly. I don't know why it is... so hard to find on Google maps. I would certainly return. My message to Google maps is that this establishment should have itsname displayed so that we can find it easily. I only found it after persistently searching for accommodation in the area. Our group of six a great family day at the sugar shack this past weekend! Great educational experience with the tour, taffy... tasting and tractor ride, and super yummy brunch; complete with their maple syrup made on-site with trees right outside the mainLodge. We were also there this winter for the tubing activities and had a super time. Adam and Jodi were great with our kidsand very engaging. Thanks again, and we will continue to participate in family activities offered in the future. Read more
