The absolute WORST Jamaican restaurant I have EVER been to. And I have tried this location twice. I wanted to give them a second... chance. But wow. Service was deplorable, food was both burnt and old tasting, at the same time. Never had what I asked for, itwas the worst experience. And I frequent Jamaican restaurants on a regular basis. Never been to Jamaican restaurant that the jerk chicken taste like bbq chicken with no flavor. Old lady at cash sitting down... that does not greet you at all. Also when food is ready another lady comes out the back singing. Service is very bad and poor,Avoid going there. Read more
Jerk chicken with oxtail gravy and peas rice was tasty. I’ll still hold Baker’s Jerk as no 1 and will put Gems as no 2. I... ordered large and the chicken servings were generous. It’s a small store but have 8-10 dining tables as well. They wereplaying Jamaican song which was refreshing to listen. Price was around $11 for large and it’s worth ! Read more
Enjoyed their curry goat on rice and peas and also their jerk chicken. Total was $19.21 (after tax) for a large curry goat and... half a pound of jerk chicken. The portions were large and filling. Friendly staff too. Had a good experience here. Will return. Read more
