Re-opened last month. Absolutely nothing special about this place. Chicken is not savory whatsoever. Not done on a wood stove... or charcoal.... instead of puting the hot sauce on the side they decide to dip the entire chicken in the sauce. I could getthis quality chicken at fortino's. Take your business elsewhere because this isn't worth the money. (16$ for halfchicken/little portion of rice and potatoes. ) Read more
First time visiting this place today. Its a family run business and it was an amazing experience and the food was great! The... owners are really nice and friendly and take pride in what they are doing. Love the flavor of the chicken with the burning firewood. It really flavors the chicken and makes you feel like your roasting chicken at a campfire. Potatoes and rice were reallygood as well as the salads. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good Portuguese chicken in Brampton. Read more
Ordered a whole grilled chicken. Best grilled Portuguese chicken i've had in Brampton. Nice sear marks and that charcoal taste... that the other places don't seem to have. Their hot sauce also doesn't taste like franks so why 4 stars? They don't acceptcredit cards. If they did I would buy more food! Read more
Ironically the food tastes really good, but I have given this place my business 3 times and each time the customer service... sucks, so no more. Also watch how their process is done, I'm very surprised that Peel health hasn't shut them down, they exposeraw chicken to cooked chicken all the time. Someone needs to teach them how not to do this. It was a miracle we didn't getsalmonella. It's also very dirty in there, it could use a full power washing. Read more
Great tasting rotisserie chicken cooked over a wood fire. Had a taste of the goat stew and it was pretty good also. The owner... is nice and welcoming. The inside needs a bit of a refresh and the price list needs to be more than a piece of paper stuck onthe wall. This is way better chicken than the one you pick up at the hot counter in your grocery store or Walmart. Seriouslyyou need to get a chicken from here. Read more
I find the quality hit and miss. At times the chicken is fresh and juicy and at other times I find it dry and seems reheated.

Olivia’s Universal BBQ Chicken is a hidden gem they are located in the plaza on the corner of HWY 10 and Mayfieldwhere the KFC is but on the backside hidden from the street view so not the easiest place to locate but they do have plenty ofparking, and well worth the visit because the food is just fabulous with very unique flavors to what I believe is regionallywere they are from Portugal. This place not only has spit-fired chicken but also a BBQ option and a full hot plate table withall sorts of Authentic Portuguese delicacies if you decide to opt out of the chicken option. They have many options with fishand steak, ribs and veggies and salad and crochets, etc. have eaten here on serval occasions I found their food very unique inits flavors unlike the typical or most Portuguese BBq places. Food 5/5 …I ordered their BBQ half chicken dinner with rice andpotatoes. Their chicken was perfectly cooked as I like it, I opted for the spicy hot version that was slathered on the chickenbefore it was served. The hot sauce is a very unique type of peri-peri, it does not taste like the Franks Hot sauce-based saucethat is typically served...I would say it is medium hot at best so anyone can handle the hot version and highly recommended. Thepotatoes had to be by far the best I have had from a Portuguese takeout place they were a little crunchy on the outside andsuper soft inside and marinated deep just amazing flavor, The rice was also perfectly cooked and very flavorful.
