I heard about this restaurant when I was in Toledo Ohio, I made it a point to seek out this restaurant and I was not... disappointed, the food is great with such a variety of Caribbean food choices. The restaurant was clean and the staff werewonderful. The owners were there and took great pride in issuing great customer service. I recommend this restaurant toeveryone. The staff were polite enough. The food was decent. The interior design felt "homey". I enjoyed the coleslaw. I like the fact... they jerk the chicken in the drum like they're supposed to. This review is for the Main street location (downtown Brampton). We ordered 1lb of pork and a small order of rice and peas. The... jerk pork was bones and fat; there was barely any meat. The rice and peas was good. We didn't find the staff friendly orinviting. We felt as if we were bothering them. Our order cost $16.95. We won't go back. Read more
Small location with big flavors. The few times my family ordered from here. The kids had no complaints and myself and husband... liked our fingers afterwards. The only thing is if you arrive during thier busy time, you might be waiting a long time. So itall depends on your patience level. But honestly food is definitely worth the wait. Read more

I went to grab a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food tasted great especially the jerk chicken and steamed... cabbage. I could tell the food was prepared with care; same as I would prepare in my own kitchen. Excellent customerservice..the only drawback the store had no AC and it was very hot in the place. Ordered curry goat and oxtail from this place for the first time. Almost all of the reviews sound promising so why not give it a... try, right? I?m not even surprised that they DONT serve fresh food. The steam veggies had a funky smell as well as the whiterice, it was as if they mixed old rice with the new. The food was so salty that i could barely taste the flavour of the meat.Not to mention the attitude of the staff. The staff was not welcoming nor friendly. They barely greeted or said a word when Icame in, and most of all, they did not even acknowledge my business at the end. I mean if you?re going to act stuck up at leastmake sure your food is banging or have a tiny bit of authenticity.
