Very friendly customer service, but I feel like Shawarma Queen is not the same when it first opened. Pita was very soggy when I... got home, it just fell apart. They need to improve their sauces. Where is the flavour of tahini? Sumac on the onions would begreat, as well. Read more
A fresh, new twist to Shawarma. The rice is tasty with fresh flavours, the chicken is cooked well and the sauces bring it all... together really well. Overall a delicious shawarma on the rocks! It is more expensive than your regular shawarma chain but itmakes up for it! Read more
I came to Shawarma Queen as per a friend recommendation. It was my first time at this Business. The young lady that assisted... me, was very helpful and polite (Tuesday May 24th at 9:40pm). After I made my order and paid, I asked for the washroom. I wastold that they are closed. I told her that I have a long drive because I live in Guelph. She kindly went inside to ask someoneand she was told that due to the time, it was closed. The business closes at 10pm. Why are you going to prohibit the access/useof the washroom during business hours? The time was 9:45pm. The food was tasty but very salty. I won't come back and I do notrecommend this Business! Hands down the best tasting shawarma I?ve ever had, not to mention amazing service! The young lady that served me was super... friendly, patient and informative with suggestions. The only thing I didn?t like was the price you pay for the portion you get -I spent $13 for a small (maybe I?m just bitter because it was so delicious and I just wanted more!) Always looking for quick options on weekends when running errands. The falafel wrap fits perfectly in many aspects quick, can... eat in the car and can easily be made vegan. The falafels were fried fresh which is a huge plus for us. Don?t like when placeswill falafels that are frozen or pre-fried. The staff is knowledgeable about sauces which is again a plus and the place hasdecent number of toppings. The wraps cracked while grilling made it hard to eat a bit in the car. Chicken shawarma plates were really great! The brown spiced rice is unique and has a cinnamon flavour. The regular yellow rice... is also great. I enjoyed everything here. Chicken was good too. I wish they would cut the chicken in front of me though insteadof store it in the containers. I know it?s easier for them but the experience of having it shaved off the rotary is really niceand leaves the chicken juicer and not as dry. Overall still 5 stars. I?ve been going here for years. While the price increase was disappointing, it was understandable, given the cost of ingredients... and rent. The food, however, is always amazing. I tend to go for the shawarma or the ride and fries and they are always amazingwith great portions and flavours. Both beef and chicken are great options. Read more
