Great atmosphere, very nice view of the lake. Its simple but has its charm. I wish the curb appeal is better- I think tavern can... make much more money if they attract travelers with their unique style. We stayed in Cobmin Ridge Motel nearby with modern roomsand great designs. The whole area is absolutely a treasure for hiking, especially now in the fall. We will be back :) Read more

What a great spot located right on Route 206 with Kittatinny Lake as a beautiful backdrop. Although I am a good hour from the... Branchville area, I make a point to stop in for a cold beer and sit out back where tables/chairs overlook the serene lake. Alsorecently had dinner there and the bratwurst sandwich was great and under $10. I also understand they have a different variety offood trucks that visit the bar (The dates and times are posted at the bar and on Gyp's Facebook page). Bartenders are veryfriendly too! Read more
Great place! Upon driving past it, you wouldn?t think anything of it but they have a great outside seating area with a great... view of the lake! It?s cash only, but the drinks were all very reasonably priced and the bartender was very friendly. I had theDowneast Cider on tap and it was so good! All in all, a great spot with a great view! We stopped at this biker bar during our Appalachian Trail thru hike and it was great! Staff was friendly, food was delicious,... and the waterfront back patio was so relaxing. That hammock it the spot. Remember it?s cash only! Read more
Beautiful view of Kittakinny Lake. It has a limited menu, burgers, sandwiches, at affordable prices. Small place with a big... bar, pool table, large selection of beers. Couple of small tables in the back and more outside to enjoy the view. Had chickensandwiches which were typical for a bar tavern. Read more
