I loved the burgoo and cornbread here. Got it to go. The cornbread is actually more like a hoecake. They make it to order and it... has a slight taste of bacon grease which goes well with the the stew. I wish the stew was a little heavier on the vegetables butthe overall flavor was perfectly smoky and mildly spicy. Reheated leftovers the following day and the texture held well. We ordered carry out the sides were about one spoonful of each side. No rolls with the dinner which shows in the menus. Brisket... was very fatty. And my husband got peanut butter pie which was very small for the price mac and cheese was dried out.
