Me and my daughter went in there Friday 09/09/22 The presentation was spot on, but the food was flavorless. I mean had no flavor... at all. The chicken was fried beautifully, but had absolutely no seasoning. The mashed potatoes were instant and had no flavor.For two chicken dinners and 2 drinks, I spent $40, and it sucked! This was my first time I had fried chicken liver rice and gravy black eyed peas and green beans and a piece of cornbread. I went... there around noon time I called the order and so I got there and waited. Came home enjoyed my to go food if I had to sayanything bad it would just be that the liver was overcooked so I will definitely go back but I will ask if they will cook it toorder. Oh my...Greatness! Food is made with love and it tastes like it! Good southern food made from scratch daily. Tried fried... gizzard, smothered chicken, fried green tomatoes, collard greens, honey chicken wings, mashed potatoes and cornbread...alldelicious. You get plenty of food and we never got to dessert, but will next time...and the next! Read more
A great selection of soul food. First the restaurant was a nice size, clean, and well lit. The service was great and had good... suggestions (which is easy when everything is good). The food?ohh the food!!! i know it looks good but it taste even better.Verify flavorful. For those who are vegetarians their sides aren?t cook with meat. I highly recommend. Read more

It was my first visit. The food was okay. I had the catfish nuggets, candied yams, black eye peas with yellow rice and gravey.... The yams seemed to be out of a can and the gravy on the rice was a little salty to me. I also had the banana pudding, which wasgood. Read more
Southern soul food at its finest! The oxtail is to die for. On the weekends there are ribs. You can get a plate with with... both the chicken and ribs together on the weekends too. Perfect amount of rice to clean your plate up with along with deliciouscornbread. Also, if you like greens don't make the mistake and not order these. Read more
