I came here Saturday night around 8:10 pm. No reservation, no wait, very clean restaurant. Our server, Denae, was amazing. SHE... ACTUALLY CARDED ME! The manager, Mike, was very kind and came to our table and asked us how things were. Obviously they weregreat! We had an appetizer of Fried Pickles Slices and our drinks at our table within 10 minutes of sitting down. We then hadour food about 15 minutes later. I ordered 2 Brandy Milk Punches, very nice, 1 bottle of Heineken beer, and a Catfish SeafoodBasket with fries. Needless to say, it hit the spot. My girlfriend had a Strawberry Lemonade with Craw-JambGumb. I cannotcomment personally on her order but she said she enjoyed it and would eat there again! Obviously I too will be come back tothis restaurant and would recommend anyone else to try this place as well! NOTE: There was moderate amount of parking in thefront and side of the building but tons of parking in the back. The front door is on the East side of the building and there iswheelchair accessibility. Interior noice level was moderate with about 15-20% capacity at the time of our visit. Read more
Saw this place on an IG about a year ago, and wow. In over 3 years, this is hands down the best TBA restaurant we have tried.... Better than Uleule, better than Columbia. The inside decor is awesome, the service was excellent, the speed was excellent, andthe food was amazing. So much flavor. Even have happy hour on the weekends, and the Hurricanes were on point. This is one of the best restaurants in the Tampa area.The food is as good or better then the food in New Orleans.I had the... sampler plate , killer! Bread pudding was OMG good.They also had a 2 person band playing , that was very good, Zydeco. Servicewas excellent .oh the hurricanes were very good and on happy hour! 6 Bucks! Read more
This restaurant blew my mind. The decor and vibe of the seating area is immaculate, it feels like you?re in a mystical world of... art. The food, where do I even start. The grits were phenomenal, never in my life have I had such good grits. They were packedfull of flavor in every bite. The chicken and waffles was also so so good sweet but savory in exactly the right ways. If you?reever in town I would highly recommend you stop by this spot. Read more
July 30,2022- Came to meet friends here. Food was fresh and made to order. Although the food was fresh and hot it lacked salt... and flavor which I was expecting from a New Orleans restaurant. Bathroom were simple, clean, had baby changing table. Read more
Consistently one of my favorite places. Tibby's has friendly staff, prompt service, and is always clean. Tibby's is one of the... most authentic New Orleans style kitchens I've ever been to. For an appetizer we usually get the fried pickle slices and theynever disappoint. The cocktails are always mixed generously as well. The real star of the menu here is the chicken and waffles,they are my favorite dish maybe from anywhere I've ever eaten. They are fried chicken breast with cheese and bacon sandwichedbetween Belgian waffles that are dusted with powdered sugar and served with this delicious Brandy Sauce and Frenchfries. Such a cool place! Everything we tried was delicious, portions were huge, service was super fast and attentive. The atmosphere... in this place is also very nice, beautifully designed in bold, bright colors. First time I ever tried beignets and loved them.Catfish & Cedar Grits had two large pieces of fish on a bed of cheesy grits. Me and my husband shared that and were not able tofinish. Maw's Fries were my husband's favorite, the beignets and boudine rolls were mine. Would love to go back and try somemore dishes from them! Read more
