Thank the Lord for Waffle House. You know that they are the only restaurant thats open in a hurricane? If they are Not open, you... better take cover. You can also gauge the severity of a storm by their menu. It was Emergency Menu on 99 as hurricane Ianroared through (which is limited but greatly appreciated). Judging by the line around the building, I wasn't the only onewithout power. Thankful for the crew they had to work tirelessly and hustle some food for the storm weary. My boyfriend and I were there on the 28th before the hurricane. There were only 3 people working and they were working very hard... to help everyone.... They were awesome...very friendly despite the circumstances... The food was still amazing... The servicewas still excellent. I give these guys props for what they did. Read more
Waffle House on Lumsden in Brandon is great!!! Chelsea is the best!! Took great care of our group of six. Place was clean &... inviting. Tonight's cook, I'm sorry I forgot his name, is awesome!!! THE BEST GRITS I'VE EVER HAD!! Breakfast for dinner isalways great!! This is our new "go-to" place. Food was excellent & service was 1000 stars!!!! Update!! Sonia & Juan areamazing. Post COVID has made things exceptionally harder to order. They have new rules. They won't take over the phone to go orders. You... have to go in store to order. They may have limited staffing and therefore may only allow only so many people in house. It's aclean establishment. However, check your food before you leave with your to go order so that your food is as specified. Have hadsome issues with the bacon not being cooked all the way through and the flavor left out of the waffle as ordered. Read more
Cute little place. I have to say that Courtney (our fabulous attendant) was beyond amazing. Attentive, funny, lightning quick... and very kind. She knows her stuff. We need more people like here. Great staff. Very good atmosphere. Read more
Waited for 15 minutes to place a to-go order. I got to the front of the line to order only to be told to move aside to let other... people cash out. I understand they are busy, but to be put behind everyone to simply cash out is horrible service. Definitelywill not come back to this location! Read more
You're losing a tremendous amount of Business by not allowing people to order ahead and pick up. You make the same amount of... money on people that order takeout, as you do on people that sit in your restaurant.
