We went for the lunch buffet, on a weekday. It was under $20, after taxes. The was a fantastic range of foods that day. Some... asian style dishes with rice, fried chicken with the associated side dishes, pizza, perogies, fresh veggies and dip, fresh fruitand the other 6 things I am forgetting. Even a picky eater would be hard pressed to not fill their plate. To be honest, after Ilooked at this buffet, I had no reason to look at the menu. So, I've lived in Brandon all my life, and this place has been here since I can remember. The external aesthetic largely remains... the same, as does the group of people who run it. Real people, like you and I. It is not common for a restaurant to remain inthe same hands for so long, especially in these disposable modern times. This chicken simply can't be categorized with otherfast food chicken. The chicken is real pieces, local sourced, hand prepared and only a very few individuals ever handle theproduct here, so it is very reliably high quality. One of the cornerstones of downtown Brandon, I implore you, if you'repassing through give it a try - - - - you will not be disappointed. The pricing might not be rock bottom, but not unlike say agood pizza, cheap does not equal quality. What's more, head in on a Friday or Saturday evening around 5pm, and be treatedto a one of a kind buffet- - - - fried chicken, Sesame chicken, pizza, whatever you like. I've eaten fried chicken in the deepsouth, in Georgia, Louisiana and this stuff stands up. The buffet is the same deal as the chicken....
