Was really excited to try Popeyes chicken. When I ordered I was told I would have to wait. 10 minutes for my spicy chicken. I... was all right with that. In the meanwhile waiting for my chicken I was harassed by a man who came in and didn?t like the musicso he played his iPhone music loud in the back. A couple who came in and had a very ill child who was vomiting all over thefloor and wanted to make sure they ate so they kept the ill child in the restaurant. Then I was called after about 15 minutesthat my order was ready. When I went to pick up my order they said sorry they had to give me regular chicken because they ranout of the spicy chicken which I have been waiting for. Was told by drive thru that fresh chicken was being made. Would be a 12 minute wait, park in number 1. Twenty minutes go by, so... I go in and my food is sitting on the counter. I don't know how to start this review other then WOW!!!! I was coming into Brandon Man. late and knew there would be nothing... open when I got there, so I thought I would call the location and ask what time they would be there until as they closed at10:00. The gentleman replied what time would you be getting into town? I said about 10:15- 10:30 barring any issues. He saidthat would be OK, as he would wait for me. He said he was the manager and he would make sure there was food there for me. Ithanked him and carried on. I actually got there a about 10:05 when I knocked on the door he came to it and said,"Are you the"TRAVELLER" I said yes I was the one who had called earlier at about 8:00 pm he said come in and let's get you fed. I ordered myfood he gave me some biscuits for free and then gave me 15% off my order aswell. He called me the "Traveller" again and asked meto come back anytime. I know that to some people, it would be expected for him to say that but he genuinely meant it. I have always been amazed by the prompt and friendly service of this location in Brandon. Today like times before their staff... had gone above and beyond to meet my needs. I had come into Brandon late, not realizing they were closing. They met me at thedoor and invited me in despite their closing. I had a chance to visit the new Popeyes chicken location in Brandon yesterday and I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic... and had lots of flavour. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. For sides I had the macaroni and cheeseas well as the Cajun mashed potatoes which is mashed potatoes covered in a Cajun gravy. Both of them were fantastic and arefreshing change from the usual fries and coleslaw. The staff were very friendly and the facility itself was ultra clean.
