Food was bland! Got two different orders (1 chicken dinner and 1 catfish dinner) and no sauces were offered. Both dinners were... fried and tasted like the cooks have never seen a salt or pepper shaker before. Suprising because when I used to live in Flowooda decade ago the food was phenomenal. Perhaps it was just a bad day but unfortunately I'll only be down for a week and I can'trisk getting a bad meal twice. Maybe next time. Read more
The owner of the establishment needs to update the prices on their sign! I ordered the #4 catfish and shrimp large. The sign at... the store clearly reads $13.79?but my total was $17.11. I was told that there was a price increase. The sign needs to reflectthat increase. That?s shady business practices.. Assuming that after a consumer orders they would just pay it. We went in to this Restaurant About 12:30 and there was one couple there dining. Out of the 15 tables that I counted, 3/4 were... dirty. My booth seat was sticky and I had to ask for someone to wipe it off. The food was fresh and hot, although the hushpuppies had more flour than cornmeal. Also, the floor was sticky. Ice machine was broken and one employee was sitting lookingat phone when tables had noticeable food residue.... At $50 for 3 people, I expected a lot better. This restaurant just could not get it together. They are always out of everything and they take way too long to prepare their... food. I went and got the popcorn shrimp meal and then I was informed that they did not have popcorn shrimp or Mac n cheese whichwere 2 of the 3 things I really wanted. I chose another meal that consisted of regular shrimp and chicken and then sat in linefor over 30 minutes to only be informed that they were out of shrimp completely.I was beyond furious. We ordered a large catfish plate, regular plate, and fish snack meal for our daughter and the fish and fries were soggy. I... didn?t get to take a picture of my plate but I did of my green beans. My plate was definitely not worth 10 bucks for the regularand my husband 13 bucks for his large plate. Our daughter got the fish snack for 7 dollars and she barely had anything on hers.We literally had space left on our plates the fish was very small and soggy. The catfish was good, but the fries were just average, but that could have been because they were lukewarm. The coleslaw is very... heavily doused in a thick mayonnaise based dressing that I didn't care for. It wasn't really good or really terrible. There aredefinitely better options in the area. Read more
