Went with a friend to try something new. Service was good. Waiter did a great job explaining the history of the restaurant and... made recommendations. Was headed toward one of the Caribbean dishes when I saw a tray of burgers walk by. Each burger wasstacked sky high, skewered by a bamboo pick to keep it all together. Immediately turned to the burger page in the menu and wascaptivated by the combinations listed. Ordered the Game of Thrones burger with a side of the truffle mac and cheese. The burgerwas good and it came out a bit The brie was a nice flavor. Never had that on a burger before. The winner, hands down, was themac and cheese as conveyed by our waiter. Good portion and one of the best I have had in a restaurant in some time. Little toomuch oil in the bottom of the dish, but who cares when everything above it was so good! Desserts are made locally. I had apiece of the orange cake (forgot to take a pic, sorry). It was good. Solid dessert with the cake having a good flavor andtexture. Icing was good, too, but I left most of it to save some calories. Will definitely go back to try the recommendedCaribbean dishes next time. Read more

Spent over $120 on dinner for my family and was extremely disappointed. The oxtails were gross, the curry chicken gross. As a... Jamaican I guess I have different standards in regards to the quality and taste of Island inspired food. I was trulydisappointed. Also we ordered ahead online and still waited well over an hour for our food. Read more

This was my first time going to Mad Cow Grill and the Rasta Pasta was amazing. I got mine with chicken and shrimp and loved it.... It's got a nice kick to it so if you're not into spicy foods, this is not for you. The pineapple ginger drink was alsorefreshing. Will definitely return to try more of the menu. Read more

Food was good. Oxtails were a bit chewy/fatty. My husband loved the burger and chips. Wings were also ok.

I was recommended to this restaurant from a frequent patron of Laurel location. I was skeptical, but was amazingly pleased. I... had the Jerk chicken tacos - OUTSTANDING! Spicy, decent amount, and extremely flavorful! The ambiance was perfect - blend ofcafe rustic with a hint of modern. The dessert menu is so diverse and with a scrumptious looking display you will have a hardtime deciding. I highly recommend the banana pudding cake - PHENOMENAL! Read more

Not your average Jamaican food. I ordered curry chicken rice and peas and Spinach. They only allow you to get the curry chicken... in thighs. And I?m not a fan of thighs. So I was kinda disappointed but wanted to give it a try. I was expecting some currygravy on on. Thought some parts was a lil dry even the rice. Felt like the chicken wasn?t seasoned and they just use curry onit. Spinach was pretty good. A tab bit salty. Overall I will give them another try with another option just not the currychicken. Due to the weather today, we decided we wanted to just be comfortable at home & order takeout. Despite them originally... forgetting our jerk chicken and coco bread, a quick call , run back to the store, & everything was resolved. Shout out to Nadiafor helping !! The food was absolutely delicious !!! The Jamaican flavors & spice were within each bite. Wished there was morerice with her jerk chicken meal though, to level out the spice. Picture 1: Curry Shrimp.
